Abhimanyu Ghose's Online Review Report Card

I have been treating with Dr. Abhimanyu Ghose since my diagnosis in December of 2018. I was diagnosed with Stage IV, Non Small Cell Lung cancer. I began treatment March of 2019 with chemotherapy and Keytruda. After completing chemotherapy I have remained on Keytruda since the beginning. I have been in remission for over a year and my CT scans continue to confirm no evidence of disease. I trust Dr. Ghose and his team to continue to make the best treatment plans possible for me. I also believe Keytruda has been a life saver for me! I continue to have infusions every 3 weeks with little to no adverse reactions. I am grateful to have Dr. Ghose and the infusion nurses taking care of me.

Dr. Ghose was a fine doctor on my first visit but was 15 minutes late to the telehealth visit that ended up only lasting 10 minutes despite me having more questions. When I asked if my (expensive) condition could be monitored every 4 months by my PCP, he told me that "he referred you to me because he was uncomfortable with your condition" (despite this not being true, and despite my PCP being a female). He also prescribed me iron despite me not having anemia to "help with my periods". The nurses were great but I would not recommend him as a hematologist.

Please advise if dr ghose is accredited with cigna! I think his accreditation expired in March when honor health took over!

Have had wonderful care by dr Ghose thru my cancer treatment and follow ups for last 4 years. He is attentive and caring and positive. Easy to understand his explanations and thorough. Office experiences always efficient.

Doctor Ghose is very caring and listens well, because of him I am still here, having lung cancer my tumor has shrunk considerably with the medication he has me taking.I am very pleased with him :)

Visit? I haven't counted them, but I am glad that I had Dr. Ghose for most of them! Over the last four plus years, the number of visits is in the hundreds. I noticed a lump on my left neck in the spring of 2017. In July, a tumor was surgically removed, and the diagnosis was spindle cell melanoma. The doctors involved then said it did not start in the lymph system. Many radiology scans later and no primary site identified, doctors tried to convince me that I needed chemotherapy or radiation treatments. I asked for a 2nd opinion and Dr. Andrew Carroll, my PCP, referred me to Dr. Abhimanyu Ghose at Arizona Oncology in October. Dr. Ghose taught me about immunotherapy, a way to treat my cancer with the ability to stop or pause temporarily if things were not going right. 48 bi-weekly treatments filled up 2018. Since then, we take looks (more scans) every six months, and I am still here! I have had a few issues that could be handled with minor surgery. I trust Dr. Ghose to keep me kicking!

Dr. Ghose is excellent. He listens well and explains things thoroughly. I never felt rushed. I would recommend him.

Dr Ghose is a new doctor of mine since September 2020. I could not be more pleased with him in my treatment plans. Dr Ghose is very approachable and responsive to all my concerns with my cancer treatment, I also like his medical assistant Barb very much. The entire staff at Arizona Oncology is wonderful.
