Banner Surgery Center - Tempe's Online Review Report Card

I've never been so impressed with a surgical center. Please forgive me if I leave out any names. To Amanda (my lifeline), Danielle (so welcoming), Christian (so understanding), Ashley (so friendly), the CEO (Ellen truly dedicated), the very kind O.R. nurse who made sure to get me images (very kind), Lauren and Brittany my recovery nurses (so patient and caring), Neida (Enticare) had great communication), the anesthesiologist (I believe Andew who stayed with me until I left), Dr. Woods (Enticare) who didn't give up on finding the cyst and removing it, thank you all for making this a positively life changing experience.

I brought my 94 year old mother is for a simple INR book check. My husband and I had been doing at home blood checks for her for over six years but the insurance is no longer covering the at home checks.  The equipment was the exactly the same as we have been using at home for the 6+ years. The tech tried four or five times and was unsuccessful. The next tech tried a two or three of times until she ran out of fingers to stab. I felt so sorry for my mother. She kept wincing in pain. My husband and I have always succeeded in one or two tries.  Not only were the techs inept but they were rude.  Why couldn't they simply apologize?  They offered no solutions. I HAD to have an INR number to adjust her blood thinner. It was something that couldn't wait.  When I said that they just shrugged. Finally I asked if she could be referred to a blood draw clinic and they wrote out the paper work. I couldn't believe how unprofessional they were.  I'm glad I had enough sense  to get a referral to another clinic.

BEWARE, Banner Health just passed out everyone's health information to include, among other things,  your payment info, address, SS#, etc. Beware Banner and their poor care of your electronic information

This used to be a private practice.  My doctor sold it to Banner.  This was my first visit since the sale.I can't really say I have any complaints.  I wasn't "wow-ed" either.  I was just getting checked after a minor auto accident.  She asked some questions, felt around my neck and spine, checked the usual things (eyes, ears, etc).  It was fine.I likely will be switching to my wife's doctor (whom I know - she often is one of the Phoenix 'top docs'), but this office seemed OK.

I give no stars to this practice!!  The physicians are horrible and uncaring!  Before this office was a Banner clinic they had compassion and they cared about their patients.  Since it have became a Banner office, they changed the Dr's that work there and the management absolutely is horrific!!!  I understand the management was in place prior to Banner but it seems that maybe the management got big headed with the raise!!!!  I would love to put names on this review but I won't.  Please whoever is reading this, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!!!!

Completely rude, inappropriate and lacking in compassion. I would not send my worst enemy there. People this coldhearted should not be allowed to practice medicine.
