Went to Banner urgent care today to remove sutures that were put in last week after a hiking incident. Last week Melodie and Lisa took care of me putting the sutures in. They took great care of me. My wound is cleaned out. They took x-rays to make sure that the there were no foreign bodies In the wound Before suturing it up. Had no infection through the week so I think they did a great job. Today about nine days later Jill and Devina Followed up With excellent care removing the sutures. It was nice to be able to schedule the removal today online. And I did it early before a line of Patients could pile up. It was only about 3 1/2 miles from the South Mountain hiking trails. It was nice to hike out the last 2 1/2 miles and just drive to urgent care. They were open on a Sunday which was awesome. Highly recommend. The only thing that I wish was easier was that scheduling an appointment online was easy But on the Banner urgent care website, you can’t cancel an appointment if you’re trying to reschedule. I had to call the front desk and ask them to cancel that appointment before I could book the one that I Preferred.

I didn’t like my experience. MA/ PCT need more training to administer a simple TB skin test. I thought I was getting a nurse.

I had a bad feeling as soon as I walked in and saw a disheveled looking receptionist with bright purple hair. Then when I heard her get nasty with a patient because that dared to ask how much longer they had to wait to be seen, as she was having breathing difficulties & apparently had been waiting a long time, then I knew I was in the wrong place. If the front office is that messed up it's because the doctors permit it.

Check in time was 10 and didn't get called back until 12. Yet people were going ahead of us. With a check in time after us.
