I really don’t know what term to use to describe this establishment. But I received a call to schedule my daughter for appointment. The lady, Tatiana confirmed my primary insurance, UHC. She began to ask my preferences and availability so we could schedule. I asked her if they accepted Medicaid and her whole demeanor changed. She told me they did not. I let her know that was ok and that I would just pay the copay with UHC. She stated that I could not do that. She then put me on hold to confirm. When she came back she said “Since you have Medicaid we cannot see your daughter” I asked if they were willing to see me as a cash paying client and she stated no again because I have Medicaid. Afterwards I received an email from Tatiana that was meant for someone else explaining that they could not take my daughter as a client because she had Medicaid as secondary and her account is now inactive. I don’t understand why it was such a big deal. Poor people are not the only ones with medicaid. I don’t understand the discrimination when it comes to Medicaid. Even if they eventually take Medicaid I’m not going to them. I don’t want them to treat my daughter as some type of peasant.

I love this clinic! The owners are so honest and kind, the vibes all around are exactly what I need. The space is beautiful. You can really tell that a lot of thought was put into every aspect of this business. I would highly recommend Ellie for anyone seeking a little (or a lot) of help turning a not so great mental or emotional situation into a positive one.

I only just moved to Ellie to continue with my therapist and so far a very good move. The staff I have dealt with are professional and professional. They are very caring and help in any way possible. Although I am bias my therapist is one of the best and anyone would benefit from his care.
