Dr. Orris and the staff at AZ weight loss clinic are the Absolute Best! I feel amazing after my procedure! The information I received before my procedure was very helpful and educating. I’ve lost this heavy unhealthy lifestyle and gained a positive and healthy lifestyle, the office and staff at weight loss clinic are supportive and very helpful! Thanks to Dr. Orris, and the staff, I feel so much better about myself and my health!

I can't speak to his surgical skills, but I can speak to his interpersonal skills. He presents as self-absorbed, aggressive (not assertive) and he bull dozes his way through conversations. I am not a fan of that approach. Good luck!!! PLEASE, ONLY have surgery if you have truly, truly, truly tried every other alternative. Best of luck!

Everyone who I have met at WLIA with exception to Dr. Orris has been great. An experience I recently had sums up all my experiences that I have had with him. I came in for my pre-op appointment and someone, not sure who, got my height wrong. No one asked me my height at the beginning of the visit, so I can only assume it was a glitch or a very bad estimation. Dr. Orris came into the room and looked at the computer screen and that is where he noticed that my height was 5'3" and my weight was around 320 at the time. He did not ask me my height but instead proceeded to verbally shame me about gaining 10 lbs of water weight (I usually gain between 7-10lbs when I'm on my period) he never asked about the weight gain, but he proceeded to tell me that if I didn't lose 30 lbs in the next month there would be mo way I could have the surgery and that only people who are dedicated to the program will be successful. I sat there very confused and disheartened. He left the room and then came in the dietitian. Who is always nice to me. He looked at the screen, saw my height and did what Dr Orris did not do. He asked me about it and I told him I was 5'6". That statement alone fixed the problem. My BMI wasn't over the allowed BMI and all was well.. the dietitian then went and told Dr. Orris about the mix up and yet Dr. Orris never to this day has apologized or has even said anything to me about the mix up. He is rude, arrogant and has terrible health communication.

Dr O gets my highest recommendation. Gentle and caring. Great at explaining the process and the challenges. Weight loss surgery is not a magic pill. There is still a lot of work to losing it

Dr. Orris and all the staff are great awesome people. They all made me feel at home the first time and every appointment I go to before my Sleeve surgery treat me like family. They are working with me on my payments because they care for my being. Love this staff.

Dr. Orris has proven that he cares about me and wants me to have success. He did my gallbladder surgery, my sleeve just recently on 3/28. He did a great job and I am down 37 lbs...Dr Orris is the best

If you are considering weight loss surgery, than you really need to consider the best! After much research WLIA and the Doctors provided the best care I could ever expected! Pre...surgery and follow up care was exceptional.

I am a very happy patient of this amazing Doctor. He is honest and forthright. He tells you like it is and cares about you and your success. He and all the staff at WLIA have helped me in how I see this option and the view of life in general. This is not for everyone but it is a life choice for me. Thank you Dr. Orris. You helped me save my life.

Dr. Orris did my removal of my lap-band (done in Chicago) and he did my sleeve 3 years ago. Not only was he professional, caring but he fought my insurance for my surgery! If I had to do the surgery again Dr. Orris is my guy!
