Namita Kothari's Online Review Report Card

I didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want to hurt someone’s career but I read a review that was very similar to my experience and thought people should know this. Great until delivery didn’t happen as scheduled… pushed for scheduled induction. Baby came the day before. She was obviously annoyed and didn’t want to be there. Because of that was impatient and did things to make the process go faster. Including 2 episiotomies. I tore so bad I got a hematoma and was bleeding inside and out. She couldn’t see when stitching me up and was vocal about it. Meanwhile I had no epidural and was feeling every poke with the needle and trying to enjoy the time with my first born child. I had to get a blood transfusion. It was a traumatizing experience that could have been prevented. Didn’t even want to see me again after 6 week follow up even though there were still huge concerns that hadn’t been resolved. I didn’t want to see her again anyway.

I had such a good feeling about Dr. Kothari. At first she was awesome and I liked her straight to the point attitude. She didn’t like when I brought in my birth plan… she had her own plan and stuck to it. I should have found a different doctor when I noticed that. Anyway I went into labor the day before my induction date( which she pushed for by telling me my baby is only going to get bigger) she was very annoyed that she had to come deliver a baby on her day off. Not what you want in the delivery room. She did an episiotomy (which she knew I didn’t want) (also how old fashioned?)after less than an hour of pushing and caused a hematoma. I was bleeding a lot inside and out. With no epidural she started stitching me up but kept saying she couldn’t see because of all the blood. I couldn’t enjoy that time with my newborn. I had to get a blood transfusion. I almost bled to death. Saw me postpartum twice I still had a lot of concerns that weren’t resolved but she said see you as needed. That was the end for me. I think she cares about her patients but not when it’s inconvenient for her schedule.

I am extremely grateful to Dr.kothari and her team. You all were so professional and supportive during my labor. My visits to St.Lukes Hospital were super exciting and fun such that I can see my twin angels and meet Dr.Kothari mam who was knowledgeably conversational, energetic and insightful. Thank you so much for all the love,care,support and kindness you have showered upon me and my babies and made my journey of pregnancy a beautiful blessing and is cherished throughout my life!!! And I also thank the staff members of mountain vista medical center and st.lukes hospital for your wholehearted service towards your clients.

I was pregnant with twin girls and had a small complication during my 3rd trimester. Dr.Kothari and her team are absolutely professional and were very supportive during my labor.She was so friendly, knowledgeable, insightful and experienced.People looking for good OB-GYN can confidently come to Dr.Kothari and its completely worthwhile as she treats you in the best way possible. Thank you mam.

Basically was told that I need to call when the problem I have been dealing with for over a year is more serious since she couldn't find anything wrong.

Dr. Kothari was one of the most exceptional physicians that I have encountered. Her bed side manner made me feel very at ease with what I was going through. She answers all your questions throughly and helps educate you on your concerns. She truly cares about her patients and will go out of her way for you. Very few physicians take the time to help you feel heard and Dr. Kothari is one of them. She is also an excellent surgeon that is willing to always be better. I feel confident in my care and would recommend anyone to seek her expertise.

Dr. Kothari is a very good surgeon but also is a wonderful practitioner in the clinic. I felt that she was very caring when speaking to me and took the time to get on the same page. Even before undergoing an operation, she made me feel confident in her skills. Overall, I would recommend her for any patient seeking a physician seeking care for women's health.
