Amit Fadia's Online Review Report Card

I was admitted to OVH with a 106 Fever, put into med. Induced coma, life support and packed in ice like a cod fish until fever broke in a week. My kidneys failed. He had me on Dialysis until I was transferred to ICU for recovery. I met him as he kept coming into my ICU room to check on me. There were so many wonderful hospital doctors, nurses and staff were continuously doing the same I could not keep track of who they all were. I do remember DR. Fadia as he spent time talking about what I went through when the EMT wheeled me into the ER. Today I just downloaded my labs from Tuesday and I will be talking with Dr. Fadia tomorrow as my GFR has hit a critical low of 13 mL/min/1.73m2

I have had many doctors just push me through the door and not listen. Dr Fadia is very knowledgeable and listens. He has a fantastic bedside manner. During my visit it felt like he actually cared and wanted to treat my condition. I am excited to finally have such a smart doctor that cares about his patients.

Very good Dr. would recommend him. My issue is with his office appointment scheduler. Have dealt with her twice with my two times that I have seen Dr. Fadia. After my second time dealing with her I asked her name. She said Dr Fadia. I said no your name. She said Star. So, Dr Fadia if you see this review, I would recommend that you replace her with someone who is more patient friendly. I would recommend you monitor her calls and you will understand what I am talking about. I should feel safe and cared for by your support team. She is not that person. Please replace her. I will not be coming back and I will speak to someone else in the office to cancel my appointment.

Dr Fadia is a very good Dr and makes sure that everything is taken care of. He’s very good at explaining things to you. I highly rate him as a very good Dr.

The practice does not have a good check and balance system for referrals. Patients must reiterate the same information to different staff within the office, that can on occasion, stretches out months.

Dr. Fadia knows how to listen and explain your case. He or a member of his staff return calls in timely manner. I consider myself very fortunate to have Dr. Fadia on my medical team.

My room mate was a patient of Dr. Fadia's and I accompanied hi on his visits. We never waited long and his staff is very friendly and they work as a group to give the best care possible . Dr. Fadia always had time to sit and talk to us and even spent time with Stan when he was in the hospital. He cares about his patience and is up on all the newest medical advancements.

Dr Fadia was extremely caring, courteous, knowledgeable and showed such wonderful compassion and answered all our questions that he put our fears to rest.

Dr. Fadia is a great kidney specialist. He takes the time to go over my blood work with me, lets me know how I can improve certain aspects of my health, answers all my questions honestly and accurately, and I feel more at ease with my current situation because of his care.
