A terrible experience!I was waiting for the appointment over two months, a week before the appointment they called me to reschedule it with a PN instead but again after few days they called me and left a message to reschedule again ! When I called the office I was put on hold for almost 15 minutes in the end I was forced to leave a message but they never called back! After couple of days, I called the office but the assistant who answered was so dismissive and impolite not to say rude and unprofessional !! Therefore, I decided to cancel the appointment . I did not see the doctor but by the way his staff is running his practice, gave me a very negative opinion .

Dr. Hanna is compassionate and smart...a great combination for a doctor

Dr Hanna is awesome! He diagnosed me before testing and after those came back without anything he told me next time you have another attack call ! I did and his original diagnosis was right !

I took my mother to see him — mind you, I myself have been coming and going to this office since Dr. Sheckleton worked here (he was my favorite) — this man immediately treated my mother with “middle-aged-woman-syndrome”. I won’t go into too much detail, but he completely dismissed her worries and decided to put her on a dangerous medication. My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer and this guy didn’t know about the testing you can do for it (don’t bother with medical journals.) He was rude, curt, yet a complete dolt degrading not only my mother but medicine in return. McNearny isn’t an improvement, either. Someone below me mentioned as well — go to Banner.

16 months post procedure. I was incredibly pleased with the results of this procedure. I felt better the next day....and I am much too old to attribute that to imagination. Fingers crossed that I shall never have another incidence of C-diff. Dr Hanna is the TMC and Tucson expert in this still new procedure. Glad my Infectious Disease Team sent me to him. As an aside he has a wry and delightful sense of humour which I so appreciated having a procedure with such a descriptive name. I would do it over in a minute ....well maybe 5 minutes I live very far away from the hospital.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1975, and I have received colonoscopies at regular five-year intervals. Dr. HANNA IS THE FINEST SPECIALIST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. His cordial, comforting manner is reassuring as is the state-of-the-art equipment. The internal medicine staff is attentive, caring, and reassuring! Their facility is immaculate, and most pleasant. If you're planning a colonoscopy: this is the only place to receive your colonoscopy! I highly recommend Dr.Anis Hanna and the excellent, supportive staff of Tucson Gastroenterology! . This is, without a doubt, the very finest colonoscopy treatment I've ever received!

After having a very bad experience with another Doctor in Hanna's practice, I requested a 2nd opinion appointment from Hanna, as the other doctor, Mcnerney, refused to even do an examination... Hanna refused to even see me, apparently afraid of Mcnerney... craven! All these guys want to do is to perform the big dollar colonoscopy, even without any indications of necessity, or determining what the patient's diagnosis is first! Hanna's education in Syria (third world) is highly suspect, but more concerning is his betrayal of the oath he took as a physician.

Dr. Hanna is excellent and a really caring doctor. His staff is utterly incompetent. Communication from the doctor's medical assistant went from unhelpful at best to nearly criminal. Provided misinformation regarding results from procedures. Provided the minimum information, provided no explanations or next steps. Sat on test results for five days. Even after requesting another med assistant to speak with, I was given the 'all clear', even indicating the underlying issue had healed. The report given to my PCP indicated completely different information. Would NEVER EVER GO BACK.

Dr. Hanna is extremely responsive and caring. He has been performing ERCPs for me whenever needed as well as daily hospital visits when my pancreatic cancer issues have resulted in these stays. I trust him completely.
