Read all the great reviews about him, but when he saw our 15yr old daughter for a spine issue, he barely made eye contact and kept his back to us. He did not listen or care at all that this acute issue is affecting her life greatly and not allowing her to dance at all (she has been dancing since age 3). Spent maybe 10" with us total for a spine issue that is scary ! He did not given any instructions to her only to come back after her CT and MRI are done. I have been a nurse for 20 yrs and would never treat a pt the way he treated my daughter! Worst part is - we got a copy of the visit note and he LIED! He did not give us DC paperwork at all! The visit note stated he did and that he spent a good amount of time teaching and demonstrating stretching techniques to help strength her back and decrease pain! A TOTAL LIE!!!!! I am making sure that is taken out of her record and I am not wondering if I should report him to the medical board for blatant lying???

Dr Nielsen is knowledgeable when it comes to our child's condition. Dr Nielsen has been treating her for multiple years and we recommend him for any kids with scoliosis.

Very pleased with Dr. Nielson. He was very kind and helped make a rather a difficult appointment for my autistic son much easier. Made sure, even though my son cried the whole visit that I was able to understand and hear his thoughts on my son's issues and what he could do to help with his pain. Thank you Dr. Nielson and your nurse for making it as easy as it could be. And thanks for your patience with us.

TOI was recommended by a friend when son broke a bone in his foot. The whole staff was pleasant to work with and they were pretty fast and efficient. The doctors were knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to answer any questions we had. I would recommend TOI and if needed I will go back there over urgent care.
