List of Christian Moher's Reviews
Took lots of time to talk with me, he was in no hurry. Thorough, explains results, overall really nice guy and an excellent MD.
He doesn't listen. He prescribed medication that he did not discuss with patient. He draws inapropriate conclusions. He acts like a PSA test is some kind of gold standard when it is not. The only thing good about him is that he accepts new patients. Wonder why? I am trying to find a better doctor.
I made an appt with Dr. Moher because I was concerned about my latest blood pressure readings being high. He completely dismissed my concerns because my bp was "close enough" to normal on the day of my appt. Ugh. Instead he wanted to hassle me about diabetes even though I'm seeing a registered dietitian. I told him my only vice was drinking soda (which I quit) but because I'm overweight he then assumed I also eat a lot of sweets. I don't. It's extremely frustrating to be stereotyped like that by medical professionals, but this is normal behavior so I wasn't too offended. I told him I would consent to Cologuard testing, but I was not given the kit. I told him I did not consent to a mammogram, but the order was sent anyway and I keep getting calls from Eastside Imaging to make an appt. Also frustrating, but I blamed that on office staff and not him. Overall he was nice and I actually liked him. I was looking forward to seeing him again. However, he dropped me as a patient when I noted the above complaints in an aftercare survey. So keep in mind you can't say anything negative in those surveys! It should be noted he fired me after being notified by TMC ER that I was injured in a motor vehicle collision. That's just cruel. One star off for that.
I have been a patient of Dr. Moher’s for over two years now, he is so compassionate, caring, and very understand. I have my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and I’m very particular with who I see. He takes the time to listen to you, he’s very knowledgeable and thorough. The staff is very friendly and extremely efficient.
From the staff at the front desk to Dr. Moher himself, the care I have received has been above expectations. He follows through with care and kindness.
I just went through a cancer scare and what this office did was awful every step of the way. 1. I had an irregularity & needed a mammogram. I needed a referral because I am under 40. Escalera did not respond to a request from Radiology Ltd (RLTD) for a referral. I had to call Escalera 3 times & had to call RLTD to confirm the referral happened. 2. The mammogram was 4/28. I called Escalera for a follow-up to review results with my PCP, Dr. Moher. They couldn't get me in until 5/10 even though the appointment would only be 15 MINUTES & I got the mammogram results the same day & they did find something. 3. My call w/ Dr. Moher was at 6:45AM, the call was 15 minutes and HE HAD NOT REVIEWED THE MAMMOGRAM even though it is was 10 days since the procedure w/ same-day results. 4. I asked RLTD to send me the biopsy results because I didn't think my PCP's office would call me with the results. I was right. Still waiting for that call. Thank god it was benign & I had a copy sent to me.
First visit today to establish a new primary and it could not have gone any better in my mind. The staff - bright attitudes, quick, hardworking and helpful. Dr. Moher - more relatable than any doctor I've personally seen in, perhaps, the last decade. COVID-19 care - the FIRST waiting room and staff to truly show effort in spacing and guidelines of any medical facility I've been to since the start, which is such a bummer to say for the local medical community, but so refreshing to see this today. I owe you all a beer. Thank you.
Dr. Moher was rude and denied my daughter, who was dying, quality healthcare. He was rude to me and ignored both her Pediatric Cardiologists and Pediatric GI doctors notes about how much pain she was in and that she was in end-stage heart disease and end-stage GI disease. He accused me of being over-protective and didn't believe she needed pain meds even while she was sitting in her motorized wheelchair and on oxygen crying because her tummy hurt so much (due to her terminal GI disease). Since my daughter died, less than a year after he talked to us about "misusing morphine" I wish I could ask him, "Do you believe me NOW?" Dr. Moher came across as sympathetic at first so I have no idea why he suddenly turned against us. I would NOT EVER refer him to anyone.
I’ve been with Dr Moher for approximately 13 - 14 years. From the very first visit when I had a very urgent need, he has been taking excellent care of me. His expertise, intelligence, kind bedside manner, willingness to listen and interact with my ideas/other physicians is a testament to his genuine interest/care of my health! I have great respect for him and his staff. I highly recommend Dr Moher.
Spartan office but I really liked Dr Moher. He actively inquired about my past history upon my new patient visit. I see his office also set up a community COVID drive up office. We all want lower health care costs but great service and good Doctirs. I was impressed. Looking forward to a long term relationship.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
