Allergy/Asthma sure has gone down hill! Both Drs are over-worked & facility is understaffed. Kucera is obviously not allowed to make medical decisions for the sake of patients Urgent/Emergent issues. Would NOT call one of the above Drs. for me to get much need medical Advice.

Doesn't listen, not interested in helping patient, well below average qualifications.

Terrible. Not helpful at all. Staff not helpful either!

After days of calling and begging for an appointment (I was a new patient, but I had been to the ER for an unknown allergy twice in the three days that proceeded my attempt to schedule with any available allergist in town), I finally got one with a different doctor at this practice. When I arrived, I did not see the doctor with whom I had had an appointment but rather Dr. Kucera. I was happy to be seeing anyone who could help give me answers, so this wasn't a problem for me even though it was a surprise. I walked in hopeful that I would get some answers and be able to start to heal. The staff was very kind and attentive to the extent that they could be (someone was out --I imagine the doctor I was originally supposed to see-- and so they were short-staffed). I understand that these things happen and was not upset that I had to wait a long time for the doctor to finally arrive (perhaps 30 minutes if I had to guess retroactively). However, when Dr. Kucera arrived I did not feel like she listened to me or that her attention was even in the room with me. I provided her with a very detailed log of everything I had eaten, touched, done, etc. since my symptoms began. I don't know whether she reviewed this or not -- I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she did -- but what was clear to me was that she was not digging into it to find answers. Granted, after seeing another allergist the next day elsewhere, I learned that the answers were not to be found in my log or in what I had been doing but that there was another immune issue going on. That said, Dr. Kucera asked me what I thought I was allergic to and did not push the conversation further when I expressed being unsure. I told her that I was trying to make sense of my symptoms and eating with the food log and with a list of the most common allergens... that I suspected one for a while, but that this theory didn't stick because I couldn't find actual links between eating that particular item and then having worsened symptoms. After only a few minutes of talking (and not very focused/clear conversation), she left the room and was gone. One of her staff members took me for a breathing test which came back normal. I was given a script for an epi pen and told to go get labs done elsewhere (Again, not a problem except for the fact that I wasn't even sure what I was being tested for --- I had to ask the phlebotomist at SonoraQuest if I could see the lab order and then I had to research online what the tests were only to learn that she was only testing me for the one common allergen that I mention, in the same breath as saying that didn't seem to be what it was). I left feeling exhausted, hopeless, not cared for.... I came home and said to my partner "I'm dying and no one cares." You shouldn't cry after seeing a specialist because you have no idea what to do and you feel like that doctor didn't care at all whether you lived or died. I generally am okay with a cold bedside manner, but I am not okay with feeling like the doctor didn't try to help me get better. I am not okay with feeling like the doctor did not even spend the time to fully review my case and make a plan of action --- even if the plan of action is to send me to a different doctor. Needless to say I will not return and I would not recommend seeking care with her. Perhaps others have had different experiences, but mine was one of the absolute worst doctor's visits I have ever had.

I think the least a doctor could do would be to introduce themselves and maybe ask who I am. That didn't happen. We no sooner proceeded to talk about my symptoms than she was called out. She was gone for more than half an hour. When she returned she recalled where we were, but went through the exam and meds so quickly I could hardly understand what she was saying. Frankly, I couldn't wait to leave her office. I'd rate the staff EXCELLENT, but the doctor's visit was truly unpleasant. She did her job routinely, but I felt disregarded. In the future, I would ask for another doctor in this office.

Had allergy testing done and was very allergic, doctor never came in to discuss the results just told me to do the allergy shots. Very disappointed with this doctor. I would like to switch but have already gone through 2 rounds of painful testing with her and if I switch to a different doctor I'm afraid I would have to go through testing again.

I had an 8:30am appointment scheduled, waited until 9:40am without being seen or given an update. Walked out of the office, which sent the staff into a flurry of panicked apologies. Doctor appeared 5 minutes later, spent 10-15 minutes being questioned & examined. Nothing notable. Given the dysfunction associated with their office scheduling and administration, I have no interest in returning.
