Clean clinic, friendly staff, clearly detailed all necessary information
Honestly I won't go back. Begged for MONTHS for the results of a procedure and finally got told I need an appointment for her to tell me that. Front office staff are rude and made me feel like a hindrance. I was told that they would have to bill me because they already took thier machines down as if I was a bother. Staff cursing up a storm by the desk audible to patients. Waited an hour and a half past my appointment time even though I was told to be early and that if I was late or no show I would be charged. Was moved to different rooms before I finally got to the one where she would see me even though I have a visible disability with a limp. Finally saw her for all of 5 minutes where I couldn't get a word in and she completely dismissed or argued anything I did manage to say. She shared personal info about other patients. Everyone was rude and unprofessional except the person who checked me out. I am still waiting days later for a perscription they are supposed to call in. Stay away.
The front office staff were rude and made me feel like I was a burden. Even telling me once in an annoyed tone that they would have to bill me as they had already shut thier credit machines down for the day. Not sure why they couldnt boot it back up in the 1.5 hours I waited in the lobby to be seen to go over the results of an procedure that I had MONTHS prior... techs/nurses cussing in the back audible enough for the lobby to hear. Unprofessional and rude. Appointments always are a long wait and rushed. I have yet to have a pleasant visit.
Staff was professional and made me feel relaxed and not anxious
Dr listened to meSpent a great deal of time with meSuggested additional proceduresI was comfortable with her

I’m rating this visit 2 stars because I like Dr Facelo and being one of her patients. Long story short, I met with Dr. Bortuzzo and set a date for a colonoscopy only to be in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid and having to cancel the appointment because I was having to quarantine. I was told I had to come back to do the process ALL OVER AGAIN do reschedule. That appointment was today. I arrived early. My appointment was for 1:40 pm. I didn’t get seen under 2:15pm. When the Dr came in, she was flustered and I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. I explained the Covid situation when she rudely asked me why I was back. She still seemed to think that I was the one with Covid. Again, I was in close contact but tested positive. She asked if I wanted to reschedule the procedure. I told her that’s why I was there. I felt like I was an annoyance. She had to check me yet again and did so talking down to me about making sure to drink the gallon of liquid for prep. I told her I know what’s required as I’ve done a colonoscopy before. So she left and said someone else will be in. I had a date for the colonoscopy but no time. Seeing the doctor was a whirlwind of 4 ish minutes. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the nurse to come in with a time and confirming the procedure. I had to sign the same waivers. I spent almost an hour and half total for 5 minutes and a new appointment. This process seems like such a waste of time and I feel like the appointments are scheduled so close together that patients are left in rooms for so long it becomes ridiculous. I hope I am not charged for today’s visit. I had to make it because I had to cancel the procedure due to Covid. Having to repay is unfair and my time was already taken - time away from work that I won’t be paid for.
I always feel safe and I always feel my health concerns and issues are addressed. Love the clinic and Dr Bortuzzo
I am very disappointed with this dr.. First the positive: She was very concerned and fit me in for a follow up very quickly. She seemed to be thorough. She just states the problem. I feel she is knowledgeable. Office and medical staff are very caring and helpful as far as they can be. Cons: You must arrive on time even though you will NOT be seen for two hours. EVERY time! She would not read a one sided bullet point document containing pertinent history of what has been done. She spent longer asking questions that were on the paper, more concise. After the testing and diagnosis she was very concerned and said what Prescriptions I needed. Then it took two weeks to send them in (after a few calls begging for the meds the second week). That round of meds didn’t work so I called to give feedback and asked what to do next. It took several weeks (again, with my follow up after waiting a week to hear back). This continues to happen, with no resolution. I have heard another friend say she had the same experience. Not worth knowing what is wrong and not doing anything to help. I’ve paid the money for all of this and no other doctor will accept the testing or results that she did. I will have to pay it again to start with someone new.
I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Bortuzzo, she was very thorough and pleasant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
