Daniel Kreutz's Online Review Report Card

Dr Krutz is a hardnosed excuse for a doctor. Don't get your labs done at their office which is their own lab and not an independent one. I received a false positive on a test that I had done for years. Went to an outside lab and sure enough it was negative. Good riddance to this place and their incompetent staff!

Refused to refill a necessary medication without a worthless office visit, so they can bill you more $. Put patient at risk by refusing to refill with little notice.

Dr. Kreutz has been polite. He answers most of my medical questions with " I don't know ". And makes no attempt to help find answers just hung up on false positive for Valley fever then admit I have lupus. Even went to another doctor who confirmed I have lupus.. I have to see his NP Arin every visit and can't see him. Arin never had my best interest. She is rude, has an attitude, rolls her eyes to everything I would say. From my first visit I have my lupus has been extremely active and still is- pain and great disability. They both refused to treat me for lupus. They do not believe me or act like I am crazy. I told them I am not seeking pain meds and the steroids work better for me but still refuse to treat my lupus. I have accomplished absolutely nothing from my visits. He refused to refill my prescription. Stay away!!!

I have to see his NP Arin every other visit- can't see him. No exceptions. Arin never had my best interest. She is rude, rolls her eyes to every thing I would say. Has the attitude- my way or the highway. And she's not qualified. From my first visit my RA- extremely active and still is- pain and great disability. She refused to begin treatment until I figured out a pay source. Allowing my RA to eat away at me. For me steroids never helped. She refused to help me taper- even though I was developing notable cushings symptoms. Her ultimate recommendation was for me to continue steroids, stop the RA medication and go to the ER. Absolutely opposite of what she should have recommended. His Medical assistant Alyssa is an angel- she was always kind and helpful. If you need a good medical provider- keep looking.

Worst medical experience ever! I am beyond frustrated. Do not choose this provider. It is usually not a good sign when a specialist has an opening in their schedule so quickly. However I took the opening because I wanted to be seen quickly to get to the bottom of my medical problems. I am so mad at myself for not looking at the reviews prior to the appointment. I have accomplished absolutely nothing from this visit. You will find him to be the most arrogant and condescending person. He will give you as little information as possible. Be prepared to ask questions otherwise you won’t have any idea what is going on.

I am puzzled with the negative reviews. I am sure there is more to the situation than meets the eye. I have RA with a resulting interstitial lung disease. Dr Kreutz has NEVER been anything but attentive, kind, reassuring and has lead me on the path to stability for the last several years with the perfect medication regimen. This doesn't mean he came to the conclusion overnight. It takes time; and like the one reviewer said, every patient IS different. I am an RN and I highly recommend Dr Kreutz.

I have been seeing Rheumatologists for over 35 years and I have never come across a doctor so condescending as Dr Kreutz. He speaks to you like he is talking to an errant child. He avoids answering any questions of concern or gives the standard "different people react differently" response to everything. I know my body and when I tell him what I'm experiencing if it is not "textbook" then he dismisses it. He has no interest in getting to know your specific case or deal with insurance companies so he takes the path of least resistance and prescribes old school drugs for everything. And don't think you can get in with him for a first appointment and switch to a different doctor after six months like the quote the policy at your first appointment becasue when you try, they will tell you the policy is no switching ever. Do yourself a favor and move along to a whole different doctor to start.

Dr. Kreutz has been friendly, knowledgeable, caring and responsive for many years in treating my bad knee osteoarthritis with injections. He is patient and allows enough time for our visits. His staff is also great - in particular, he has a PA named Rana who has been an exceptionally good caregiver. Recently I had an MRI done and he called me after dinner personally with the results and gave me a great referral to a very good specialist. I saw him in Mesa, AZ, not in Tucson, so maybe some of the negative reviews have to do with Tucson staff. I would personally recommend him to anyone.

I wish I could leave no stars. I was treated horribly, if you are considering this doctor - please choose another.
