This doctor said I needed cataract surgery and rushed to get my surgery done by him. I had a second opinion that said my cataract was just barley beginning and it was too soon to operate. This doctor is out make money without consideration for what is best for the patient.

The staff at Arizona Eye Consultants were warm. welcoming, and extremely helpful to my mother before, during, and after surgery. Esmeralda, specifically, was very patient and answered all of our questions every time we called (2x a week before surgery). My mom has cataracts on both of her eyes and was frightened and cautious going into surgery. Dr. McCafferty eased her into the process. Four days after surgery, my mom was amazed at the progress, she called Dr. McCafferty immediately to schedule an appointment as soon as possible for her right eye. Bottom line, we highly recommend Dr. McCafferty and his staff! Thank you to Arizona Eye Consultant!

I've been going to Arizona Eye Consultants for 3 years and love how friendly and caring the entire staff is. Then I had cataract surgery in both eyes with Dr. McCafferty and my life is totally changed! I have amazing vision, better than I've had my whole life. Life changing!

Long wait. And wrong diagnosis. Went for second opinion confirmed cataract surgery not needed. Dr. MCaffery not only sid it was needed but it was needed immediately! That plus long waits and over booking. Have gone here about 6 years...no longer.

I took my parents to see Dr. McCafferty. I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgable, and he takes the time to explain things. He is also extremely articulate. I felt confident my parents were in good hands.
