Ellen Eichler's Online Review Report Card

Been going to Eichler for years - about 22 or so - staff used to be really good, new your name, face, etc., got results when you called and such. Staff turnovers the last 4-6 years and temps in the office a lot- that is not, in my opinion good practice. Also, the wait times after arrival are not horrible but the atmosphere is.

Dr. Eichler was great. She listens and ask questions to know whats going on and how to best help my needs. I would definitly recommend!

Tried to establish care was denied thats fine I get it what's not ok was the fact that I had to follow up because they never did and upon that follow up phone call they insisted that they called me and then hung up on me can't speak on Dr Eichler but her staff at least the person I talked not very professional at all

My initial appointment went rather poorly. I was unable to be seen until 50 minutes after the scheduled time. I understand this happens and perhaps this was a rare case. However, the population in the lobby sure made it feel like there were multiple double bookings. Regardless, Doctor Eichler spent a disconcertingly short amount of time with me, felt as if she did not even listen to some concerns I addressed. It happens. I attempted to call during business hours roughly 12 months later for my annual wellness check, I was bounced to voicemail as it must have been busy. I left all details that were asked of me, I did not leave multiple messages which was also requested in the recording. No one ever contacted me back to schedule, unfortunately. Now last week I called for potential strep. throat, again I was required to leave a voicemail. Of course I never received a call back in their quoted time frame which forced me to go to urgent care, after waiting the 3 days in hopes of a response. I really hate to leave a negative review but my experience has been beyond disappointing and now I’m tasked with finding a new PCP. I hope my experience is an outlier, but I could not recommend this practice to friends or family.

I love Dr. Eichler and her staff. They are caring and understanding. I am so glad a friend recommended them to me. Thank you, Dr. for taking the time to listen and being patient with my care.

The office manager, and front reception of politely frosty. Be careful, they set the tone for your entire visit. MD does not notify her patient or explain procedures prior to performing procedure. For example, rectal exam.

I attended as a new patient last year.Don't bother going, compassionate care doesn't exist here.I felt the doctor treated me rudely, like I was inconveniencing her by showing up for my appointment I waited well over an hour for, and I felt belittled for my current state of health.I will not be going back, and I don't advocate for anyone going back there.In her exact words to me- You should only come to me when you need a doctors note for being sick, and that's about all that her attitude is needed for.

Best doctor. Very caring. Very patient. Listens to me. Great judgment. Office staff wonderful. Love going to Dr. Eichler and trust her !!!

I'm reading some 1 star reviews; "She was out of town..." "I had to wait a half hour...". Blah, blah, blah -- WTF?; Welcome to the American medical system. Were you expecting house calls?Dr Eichler is a top tier doc; thorough, professional, and smart. She knows her stuff. Her questions are incisive, her evaluations are accurate and her remedies and prescriptions hit the mark. That's most important to me.Agree that the staff seems harried from time to time but they get the job done. The thing I find most annoying is that the auto attendant on the phone says they are open till 4:30 but the phones are often forwarded to the after hours call service well before then.
