Also, my husbands testing came back 6 mos ago as positive, office staff never informed us. POSITIVE FOR CANCER Who does that waits over 6 mos and when we called for an appointment oh by the way you have a positive cancer result.
I've been a patient of Dr. Sonderer about 7 years now. I'm a new patient of Dr. Monica Ecchols. They both have gone out of their way to help me. Recently, Dr. Ecchols, the MA, receptionist ALL of them have gone way out of their way to help me and have been very kind. When you're not feeling well, and are at the Dr alot it's so lovely when they're this kind. Thank you all💗💗💗💗
I have been with this doctor for a number of years... but no more. The most dysfunctual medical office I have ever been to. Little if no followup from doctor and back office is served by an very unpleasant medical assistant. this MA is full of excuses for any and all delays. I had to wait 2 weeks for an xray order for an very important medical problem. The doctor seems to not care enough to follow through on important matters.
Dr Sonderer is amazing. Love his common sense natural ideas before pharmaceuticals. Thank you! So great full to be back. Highly recommend him!
The front office staff was wonderful; my insurance was messed up & they were so helpful getting it “fixed”. Even got to keep my appointment & Dr. Sonderer’s nurse practitioner was extremely thorough. His assistant is wonderful as well, went above & beyond, all while maintaining kindness & professionalism. Very grateful.
Referred to us by a neighbor...hit the jackpot! First visit...he listened and actually had a great conversation regarding my health, lifestyle and history as well as future. When was the last time your doctor did that? Office staff is responsive as well. Both of us have found a great GP and could not be happier.
Initially I thought he was a good doc. He listened, seemed to understand all my "issues". As time went on I realized that more and more he was "patting my head" and not really doing anything for my medical problems. He actually told me one time that "I don't make money seeing you"! He denied one of my medications after asking me to "cut down", I did, then he said I wasn't using it so he denied ...
I was a patient of Dr Sonderer for several years. Even liked him enough to have our daughter and my husband see him. ALL that is changed. I left after he brushed me off with my chest pain "anxiety" and after my decreasing my dose of medications like he asked, he then flat out refused to fill because "it's been too long since you filled it" (I decreased based on HIS request). Then he tells our daughter about a medication I'm taking. (Isn't this a HIPPA violation?) I changed after I had a cardiac arrest. My husband has an appointment with a new PCP but not until the end of July. He needs a pre op visit prior to that. I just had a huge argument with Sheri at the front office. She initially did not want to make the appointment "He is changing doctors". Well, until he does they are still responsible for his care! I told her that if she refused to make the appointment my next call would be to our attorney for abandonment of patient care. She made the appointment. What a way to solidify that we need a new doctor/office. Would not recommend this doctor or this office.
Excellent doctor. Would refer others to him without any reservations.
Dr. Sonderer is fantastic, but getting the staff to respond to referral requests is very difficult. Referrals are not at all done in a timely manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
