George Makol Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Makol truly cares about his patients. Recently my insurance switched to a different company to where Dr Makol can not accept. He went above and beyond to work with another allergy Dr I could switch to. He personally calls and checks on the process to make sure I was able to get treatment. Best Dr. ever! I wish I didn't have to switch.

Absolutely awful experience with dr makol. Came in with ongoing hives and got a lecture about the Moderna vaccine and bragging about his credentials. He told me there was no point in trying to figure out the source of my hives because we wouldn’t be able to pinpoint anything, didn’t even run a food or environmental allergy test, and sent me home basically in tears because he didn’t listen to a single thing I said.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Makol. He is knowledgeable, caring, personable, thorough, and never rushes you. He is a great diagnostician and a wonderful human being. Don't hesitate making an appointment to see him about your concerns.

I am very grateful for Dr. Makol being able to rule out COPD diagnosis. He is very clear and kind with his patients. Deciding to go to his clinic for allergy relief was therefore an easy and convenient choice.

I had an initial diagnosis ofCOPD from a chest x-ray but Dr. Makol put me through a couple of easy tests and ruled it out. Thanks to Dr. Vig for referring me to this kind and clear thinking and easy to understand doctor!

I saw Dr. George Makol May 17, 2018 for a allergy consult & allergy test. During the initial consult & examination he noticed a lump on the left side of my neck under my ear & jaw . We discussed this finding & he suggested I have it looked at; I hadn't done so, it didn't hurt or bother me at all. I did make an ENT doctor appt. & the lump was found to be malignant squamous cell carcinoma in the form of oro-pharyngeal cancer. Ugh! After seven weeks of chemo & radiation treatments last summer into the fall season, I can now say I am in TOTAL REMISSION!! You saved my life Dr. Makol. If I hadn't taken your little bit of advice I probably would have waited too long to check this out. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your caring & compassion. Linda Warnick

This doctor is outstanding. I first went to him after being referred by a family member. I was so impressed with how much time he took with me at my first visit, he answered all my questions and didn't rush me out, AND he called me with my results like he said he would. I now take my son to him and he continues to exceed my expectations. If I call and leave a message someone calls me back right away. I wish all doctors were this caring and responsive.

A retired internist who is also a friend says Dr. Makol is one of the best allergists in Tucson. He's given me incredible relief from allergies and I'm massively better than when I first met him. I'm very particular about doctors: I hold a doctorate in a related field and don't go to just anyone.

After receiving allergy injections from his office for over a year, I have found Dr. Mokol to be very unprofessional regarding my attempted feedback to him on one of his nurses.
