List of Howard Brown's Reviews
Dr. Brown is a wonderful Doctor! I can’t stress that enough! He has been our Doctor for 27 years and has always taken very good care of my husband and I. He does not hesitate to send us on for testing or to see another specialist if needed. I never have to wait very long in his office before I see him. He covers everything each and every time. Asking questions and taking notes all the while. He is a Doctor who really cares about his patients. I could stay there all day and he would listen to me. He doesn’t have his hand on the door ready to leave - like some Doctors - instead, he takes his time and LISTENS. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brown - “A Doctor who CARES about his patients.” I wouldn’t want any other Primary Care Doctor but him! On a side note, his receptionist, Ann, is absolutely unbelievable!! EXTREMELY efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable!!
Dr Brown is always willing to take time and review any concerns you have and either refer you to anther specialist if needed or help you and review any issues with follow up if necessary. I have been a patient of his for years and he is still the best doctor I have gone to by far
Dr Brown always takes time to address any concerns I have at my appointment
I have used Dr. Brown for many years and he is a wonderful Dr. He and I have a good understanding of his office procedures and I know that he will give me all the time that is needed for whatever the problem might be. He asks what the visit is for and then I wait while he types and reads my history before I ask my questions. He calls me at home if needed, even in the evening!
Dr. Brown is professional and extremely detailed with his patient care. He does type while he is speaking with you but he is very attentively listening to you and your needs. He spends whatever time is necessary to take care of you. He returns calls the same day as well as his assistant. They are very good about referrals, you get the paper referral in the mail in less than a week. Prescriptions, you get refills within 24 hours or less. He follows up on all bloodwork within a week or less. Anything that may be alarming he will call you even if it’s Saturday. This doctor is really a gem. He may not be all warm and fuzzy but he cares more than any doctor I have seen in my life. Unfortunately I have seen a lot of doctors! He refers you to quality doctors he has personal experience with. He has your care in mind 150 percent. He is an A plus, plus, plus doctor without a doubt.
I cannot express adequately in words my trust in Doctor Brown. He has been my Doctor for over 30 years. He has what many doctors lack these days; a true commitment to his patient. He has listened, explained and truly cared for my well-being. He is knowledgeable beyond his scope of care, and takes immediate action to ensure his patient receives the utmost in care. He has many times gone above and beyond in the handling of my healthcare needs. If you want to receive the best care available, Doctor Howard Brown is your Doctor.
This man was my doctor for nearly twenty years before I realized I had been making a mistake by seeing him. This doctor tried to schedule my husband for a hernia surgery rather than even pursuing that it could be something like a gluten allergy. He also turned my insurance-covered office visit into a specialty visit without informing me and then dropped me as a patient through the mail without any communication after I had to fight the non-covered charge billing assigned me (This is after trying unsuccessfully in three attempts to rationally talk to the office staff about the billing issue). Once when my sister was late for an appointment, everyone from the office staff to Dr. Brown cut into her about it, regardless of her reason. During office visits, he often spent more time typing than engaging. He would not continue refills until the next office visit while also not being readily available for pharmacy calls (more than once, it was an ordeal to get a refill of a prescription I had been taking for over 25 years.). From the office staff that speaks down to people to the fluctuating cancellation fee to the long waiting even when there are very few patients to the lack of communication and access to doctors unless you pay, this place is not one I would suggest trying out. I am the fourth in my family to leave this doctor, and I doubt I'll be the last.
I have been going to Dr Brown for many years. and find that he is willing to take his time and listen to his patients. There have been times when he has returned my call well after office hours when warranted. He is also willing to refer you to a doctor more experienced if needed. I highly recommend him, and would go to no other as a Primary Care Physician.
The office staff is unprofessional; the cancellation policy fluctuates; access to doctors is difficult unless you pay. This doctor tried to schedule my husband for a hernia surgery rather than even pursuing that it could be a gluten allergy & turned my insurance-covered office visit into a specialty visit in billing & then dropped me as a patient through the mail after I had to fight the non-covered charge. Even refills were a hassle. I am the third person in my family to leave this doctor.
Dr. Brown in my opinion is very thorough and very observant in my Physicals and any other visit so am very satisfied with his practice. His referrals to other Dr. for specific problem too are with very competent Doctors and have had trust in them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
