List of Joanna Evans's Reviews
I would absolutely recommend Dr evans, in fact I do all of the time!! I refer my family and friends, I have my husband and our teenage son under her care as well.
I decided not to post a negative comment after my initial visit thinking Ms. Evans was just having a bad day but after the poor experience my wife had today, I'm expressing my concern. I am a senior citizen in excellent health and on my initial visit I made the mistake of asking how long she had been in practice....one of many questions I ask of any new provider. Her curt response of 11 years let me know it was not appreciated. I stopped any further questions. Ms Evans has absolutely no "bedside manner". Her rudeness to my wife...angrily accusing her of being late to her appointment (she was early) and causing Ms Evans to be off of her schedule was inexcusable of a healthcare professional. We will never darken her door again.
I have been in Medicine for 40+ years. I had my first visit with her today and won’t be going back. She is rude, disrespectful, and not caring at all.
Lacked thoroughness, dismissed main concern and focused on a secondary concern. Felt disrespected and rushed.
She was terrible. I am a new patient, and have worked in medicine myself for 20 years. She was rushed, talked down to me, and had very poor bedside manner. Super disappointing. Would not recommend her at all!
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Evans to establish care and specifically to get some guidance on losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way. Dr. Evans referred me to a local nutritionist. Upon speaking with said nutritionist I was informed that their program of several weeks would cost me thousands of dollars, require specialized tests and the purchase of supplements directly from them. Skeptical I did my research and found that these tests are not accepted by either the medical or nutrition communities as being accurate or beneficial and have very little, if any, foundation in real science. I also found information questioning the benefits of the supplements being peddled. I'm just trying to get healthy. Dr. Evans would prefer though that I risk my health and waste my hard earned money on some nonsense pseudo science. In my opinion, she can't be and shouldn't be trusted.

Dr. Evans is professional, practical and efficient. By far the best primary care doctor I have had.
I spent my career in the healthcare profession and Dr. Evans goes beyond excellent knowledge and judgement to also make the patient feel better physically and mentally. EAA

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
