First meeting with Dr. Stoughton. We covered a lot in the time we shared since I had not seen a doctor in 18 months. My original PCP retired and I was left trying to find another. We planned a change in my medications and I am looking forward to some improvements before my return visit in 3 months. Never got to make appt with physician, was on hold 20 minutes in the morning, finally hung up and called back in the afternoon, and after being on hold for 15 minutes receptionist came on the line, I explained I was new to the area and had been referred to the office by cardiologist, and needed to make appointment. The card the cardiologist had given us, was on tangerine. I thought that is where he was located. I was informed by the receptionist that he sees patients there once a week. I asked if I could make an appointment there and was informed very curtly and abruptly "No!" "You will have to come to the office". At that time I decided that after being on terminal hold x2 today, and being treated so rudely by the front office, I should continue to look for a more patient centered office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stoughton for a good nine years or so, and treasure my relation with him. He has always taken a keen and understanding interest in my health and clearly does not see me as just a time slot.

Dr. Stoughton was very thorough and patient when seeing my mother as a first time patient. He is well read and knowledgeable about medication needs for geriatric patients.

Dr. Stoughton treated my mother for several years. He always took time time listen to her concerns and was very kind and compassionate with her. Each visit he was very thorough and dealt with her problems in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
