I went to Dr. Hardy for severe knee pain. After taking x-rays and determining I didn't need surgery, she was so dismissive. I asked her for help with the pain, what might be causing it and what to do about it, and she wasn't very cooperative. I sat there expecting her to refer me somewhere for pain or to suggest a plan. She grudgingly decided to give me an injection. I was so disappointed with her attitude. I had a follow up with her in which she kept me waiting over an hour, raced through the appt, barely spoke to me. I didn't go back.

Two years ago Dr Hardy came highly recommended. I saw her for a meniscus tear in my left knee. She explained everything that needed to happen, performed the surgery and ordered physical therapy. She truly lived up to her excellent reputation!

I could not be happier with the care I received by Dr Hardy and her staff before, during and after knee replacement surgery on both knees. My right knee replacement was on 4/19/22 and left knee replacement on 6/14/22. I hiked Mt Wrightson , 4000’ elevation gain on 8/31/22, two days before my 74th birthday with almost no residual soreness. What I particularly appreciated about Dr. Hardy was that the surgical decision was totally mine, no “car saleswoman” pressure to perform knee replacement surgery even though 2 1/2 years prior to surgery my x-rays found bone on bone cartilage loss. I decided to first try cortisone shots , then gel injections and when neither improved my condition, I decided to proceed with surgery. Dr Hardy has improved my quality of life immensely by restoring my ability to hike for hours on end and even chase down overhead pickleball lobs, activities that had eluded me for years. I am forever grateful for Dr. Hardy’s “divine” intervention.

Dr Hardy is super professional, kind, patient, and highly skilled. She replaced both my knees with outstanding results, and a rotator cuff repair that has me pain free. If facing any kind of orthopedic issues I would highly recommend Dr Hardy to anyone. She is the best!!

Roughly one year ago Dr. Hardy performed my knee surgery. She was very impressive. She was on time for every appointment I had with her - literally never late! Her staff was equally professional. She took the time to explain the issue with my knee (even drew a few pictures for me) and went through every option available. She made sure I was informed before we took any step forward during the process. This is the 1st surgery I have every had, so my anxiety was high however Dr Hardy's thoroughness and attentiveness eased all concerns I had. 12 months later, my knee is like new. I highly recommend Dr Hardy.

Before choosing Dr Hardy, I had done extensive research on surgeons and different types of TKA. We discussed all decisions, together and at length, and I felt 100% confident I had the best surgeon. 6 days ago, Dr Hardy performed my Total Knee Replacement (TKA) at the Oro Valley Surgery center. Arriving at 5.15a I completed final paperwork then was placed in the pre-op room at 6.00a, where a team of 3 nurses (amazing people) got me ready for the surgery. At 7.00a I was in surgery (asleep at this point), next thing I know it is 9.30a and I am waking up in recovery. At 10a with my nurses help I was walking to the bathroom. By 11a I was back in my car (not driving myself) with a new knee! Two days later I had my first Physio appointment, and It is still a week until my stitches come out, but I am able to walk unassisted around the house. Dr Hardy was beyond excellent from beginning to end (effective listening, empathetic as well as highly skilled), I am so grateful!
