Dr Artz removed my gall bladder due to it having an infection. The procedure was quite fast and Dr Artz was her normal charming self. This is the second surgery she has performed on me and I can highly recommend her. She listens to her patients and gives you all the options. Follow up is great as well.

Dr. Artz is exceptional. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding and extremely efficient. She is rare exception and a shining example to her profession. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Artz and her staff are absolutely the best. I have been sick for some time (over two years) with what I thought was food allergies/ulcer/acid reflect. When finally the doctors found that what I had was gallbladder issues (gallstones) they referred me to Dr. Artz. At the pre-surgery consultation, she was amazing, explaining how the surgery procedure was going to be, what to expect before and after surgery, answering straight forward all my questions (I ask a lot- It is my body after all :) ) BUT, when she said that she DOES NOT prescribe pain medication after this surgery, I panicked. I postponed this surgery three times, I was afraid, I was making excuses to postpone it but feeling worse every day, I was also waiting for my daughter to be in her summer break because I was really scared that after surgery I was going to need A LOT of help and care. I WAS WRONG, DR. Artz, WAS RIGHT. I did not have one day of pain, I didn't even need to take any pain medication not even OTC medication (No Tylenol, no Ibuprofen) nada. I didn't have any swelling, no redness, no complications at all. It has been two weeks since the surgery and as she predicted, my energy is coming back and I am starting to feel like a new person. At my follow-up appointment I found out that besides the gallstones I also had a pretty bad gallbladder infection (I waited too long to take care of it) I wish now that I didn't. Thank you to Dr. Artz and all her staff and also to all the staff at Camp Lowell Surgery Center, they were all awesome!

First appointment and she made everything such a smooth transition and I’ll be set for surgery soon !

We had a terrible experience with this office and this doctor. They failed to own up to their obvious mistake. We had another doctor fix her mistake at our expense. Boooo!

I had surgery on May 12, 2023 by Dr. Artz. You will not find a more competent and compassionate surgeon in Tucson. Her staff was also wonderful.
