List of Kelsey Lewis's Reviews
Dr. Lewis is the first doctor to take me seriously. Most others have brushed me off as a "complainer" but she genuinely listened and has helped improve my life. She will always try her best to answer all my questions even if that requires research on her part. But she isn't afraid to refer me out when she does not have all the answers. She is kind, friendly, and comforting. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lewis!
I have found Dr. Lewis to be a great primary care physician. I value her intelligence and willingness to listen. I have never felt rushed through or my questions dismissed. I feel very blessed to have access to such a professional.
Dr. Lewis is very nice. She listens well and respects my opinions. I have 60 years of medium to severe health problems and she works with me on each one in an attempt to help or solve! She has 30 minute appointments so there is plenty of time to address all my concerns. She will not hesitate to refer to specialist if needed.
Lack of concern in handling patients issues.
Hostile communication by the support staff. Lack of professionalism and common courtesy. Don't they realize that seniors have plenty of care options in Tucson? Our care management office will NOT refer to this group in the future.
She always prepared for my visit and with my different ailments she has addressed them in adifferent way of looking at things. She is careful in prescribing medications and treatment. She follows up with the different specialists to understand their treatment. She listens to what I say during our visits and is not taking notes but looking at me. Best doctor ever.
Dr. Lewis & her medical assistant V are very kind. However it is nearly impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. The care coordinators (front office women) are incredibly rude and often forget to let the Dr. know you've arrived. I recently had an ultrasound and no one called with the results. I had to call them and it took over 24 hours for someone to get back to me and when they finally did they were unable to answer any if the questions I had because it wasn't the Dr. I feel like they don't actually care about the patient, they just want people in & out quickly so they can make as much money as possible. I would definitely recommend not coming to this office.
Dr Lewis recommended I receive a Prolia injection that would need to be given to me by her in her office. She would order the medication and I would be called to come in for the injection. After a short period of time I received a call from the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) in order to schedule the Prolia injection and I eventually did go to TMC for the injection as instructed by Dr Lewis. When I received the bill from TMC for this injection I was stunned. They had charged me $3,000 more for the Prolia than I would have paid had I had the injection in Dr Lewis's office. After several phone conversations with Dr Lewis's staff, she never returned my calls, the only answers to my questions of why was I sent to TMC, and why is there such a discrepancy in medication pricing were, "I don't know" and "I am sorry." They have yet to acknowledge any responsibility for the change in my care from what Dr Lewis recommended or why they redirected me to TMC instead of the original plan. And Dr Lewis has never returned my phone call to address my concerns.
I scheduled a wellness visit with Dr. Kelsey Lewis, as I was looking for a female PCP in an area I recently moved to. My family history was gathered and we discussed a couple high level questions. I had to ask what she thought about my weight, as there was no feedback during the exam about my weight, BP, etc. There was no actual physical exam, nor was there any blood work. Given that I am approaching 40, I found this strange. No manual breast exam? What does my cholesterol look like? My blood sugar? Before leaving the office, I asked if they were going to do blood work. I was told I had my blood work done recently. It was actually a year and a half ago. I recently had a specific hormone tested with my endocrinologist - not the same test nor the same concerns. I still thought it seemed off, so I called back and asked about the blood work and why I didn't receive a physical exam at my age for a wellness visit. No return call. The office sent me a survey, which I completed and provided my feedback a second time and requested someone call me back. Nothing. I was willing to give Kelsey a second chance had she shown any effort or concern about my care. Apparently, "Dr." Lewis cares about getting paid and not about the health of her patients. I am seeing more and more women I know and in my age group getting breast cancer. Since you are not concerned about my care or health, I won't be returning. Best of luck to you!
I took my daughters to her 3 times. She was in terrible pain; her hands were swollen, her feet were in pain. Dr. Lewis did nothing. Ordered no blood work, barely even looked at her. On the third visit, all the staff were looking at us like my daughter was a hypochondriac or something. I explained how much pain my daughter was in. I asked for relief for her, for something. Dr, Lewis looked at me like I was drug seeking, like I was dirty. I could hardly breathe I was so upset. She asked me to leave so she could talk to my daughter alone. Like maybe I was abusing my daughter. The office charged me each visit above and beyond the insurance. I went to another Dr. My daughter has been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I cried. If Lewis had done something, had she taken us seriously, listened maybe, done anything, anything at all, so much time would not have been lost. She's horrible. The whole office is. Do yourself a favor, avoid Dr. Lewis. She truly does not care; is arrogant and not even very bright. Given what my daughter has had to go through, I hate Dr. Lewis and I don't hate easily.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
