List of Kevin Pounds's Reviews
This dr’s office was accepting new patients so I gave my information and they said it had to be sent to the dr for review to see if he would accept me. I called back a few days later and the dr said he would not take me on as a patient but gave no explanation why. I then asked if his partner would accept me and was told when one dr declines the other one would typically follow suit. I found the whole situation strange and don’t understand why I was denied without an explanation. I have never experienced this before with a dr’s office.
The best way to schedule an appointment with doctor pounds is to not schedule an appointment with doctor pounds.
For sure the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. When he asks you what role he should play in your life, he wants you to say he's your health guide or partner - If you don't, he seems to take it as an insult. I wanted to like him because someone recommended him but he was condescending. I saw him twice, I thought maybe we just got off on the wrong foot but no... he just as disdainful and superior the second time, so I took the hint and found an amazing PCP through Northwest Allied Physicians.
Dr. Pounds is a cocky and complacent doctor. I was seeing on him as my PCP and for anxiety/depression. He would never hear/listen to what I had to say. It was as if he was just waiting for me to stop talking so he could hear himself talk. The man literally rolled his eyes at me. He is very out of touch when it comes to real life struggles; as he rocks his 5 Cartier brackets. I reached out via the patient portal saying I was struggling and he had me take one of those anxiety/depression test and NEVER got back to me. The final straw for me was when he requested I do a yearly physical in the mist of all my mental health issues. After doing labs, I realized his office repeated labs I had done for my endocrinologist. Surprise Dr. Pounds never put in the orders for the lab. As a patient I have a choice, and I chose not to see him any longer. Don't settle for less people!!! Being a doctor is a business and his business sucks!
I have actual diagnosed Hoshimoto’s disease and this ridiculous doctor told me my hormones are fine and did not prescribe me any thyroid meds to make up for all the hormones I was deficient in.
Everyone from the front office staff and especially doctor are extremely rude. Will never go see this doctor again! Really isn't even worth 1 star.
Always on time, always thorough, very laid back but to the point. Has a great sense of humor and is pretty patient most always.
Dr. Kevin pound is an incredible doctor, focused and I couldn’t say he cared for my son more than he cared for me, equally awesome. With sports, physicals on short notice, they were super accommodating. As a single mom juggling so much, I needed a detailed doctor and sometimes on a short notice. He was injured in sports, had tonsils needed removed, and so much care. Throughout the years, he found an ovation cyst and kept an eye on my esophagus problems. My son was afraid of needles and the biggest baby, but they were gentle and he loved Dr. pound as he was kind, spoke to him directly, and as my son would say, funny. His staff were very attentive to us always. Now that my son is grown with his new baby coming soon, I hope he will bring his family to Dr pound as I would trust him with the next generation! Thompson Family.
Always timely and thourough.
So far so good. I’m new with one initial visit. He is straight forward and to the point. It’s what I need to lose weight and lay out a track of health wellness.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
