Lindsay A Tavares's Online Review Report Card

I was switched to Dr, Tavares when Dr, Sanay was booked. After one appointment I immediately switched to her. She is skilled, caring, careful, and provides clear and precise explanations. I taught at the university level for over four decades and know excellent explanations when I hear them. I trust my eyesight to her without hesitation.

I would give 6 stars if I could. She came in on her day off to help me!

I went to Dr. Tavares initially for a 2nd opinion, because my ophthalmologist at the time was arrogant, condescending, and wouldn't explain anything. Dr. Tavaras is the polar opposite of this. She is patient, listens, clearly answers every question, and does the most thorough exams of any ophthalmologist I've ever visited. I switched to her immediately. She has successfully performed surgeries on both of my eyes, and was very kind and empathetic through the whole process. I highly recommend her.

HORRIBLE Scheduling clerks are not knowledgeable in insurance plans, and do not take the time to learn, thus requiring referrals when not necessary. Incompetent tech or assistant (whatever their job title is) that examined my spouse's eyes rushed through the exam, not giving him a chance to actually pick clear letters. Now, we are waiting to see if he will be able to see with his glasses. Middle-aged hispanic employee that examined my eyes was FABULOUS. Hope you get her--Name?

I saw Dr. Tavares on a day when my regular ophthalmologist, Dr. Sanay, was doing surgeries. My problem needed immediate attention, and I thought that it was about time that I got to know her since she'd been part of the practice so long. I would highly recommend her, and won't hesitate to see her again if needed. She was very professional, caring, and explained things well.

I've been seeing Dr. Tavares for 3 years now and feel very confident in her care. She's very easy to talk to, and I feel proactive in my eye care, which is especially important to me.
