List of Mark Maxwell's Reviews
He is always respectful of me and my knowledge. Deals with my health issue well. His office staff are personable and highly efficient.
My family has been with this MD for over a decade and up until a this year we didn't have any issues. Up until I got routine blood work done and then a couple weeks later i got a phone call from Arizona Oncology asking me when I would like to an appointment regarding my bloodwork. I was thoroughly confused as they told me that Mark Maxwell referred me but this was news to me and scared me to death thinking that my blood results must have been really bad. I had no explanation. I never got an email, phone call, or any comment from the receptionist or doctor regarding what my blood results and what my next steps are. This in itself is unforgivable given the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Cancer is a very scary thing and for this office to leave me in the dark is deranged. I reached out to them with my concern, no sympathy or apology. Mark never reached out to me despite me asking. Terrible communicators as nobody reaches out when asked to have a conversation about serious medical conditions. If you want an unresponsive/uninterested doctor and team of receptionists that do not care whatsoever about their patients this is the place for you!
Amazing doc! Has always been very helpful
Dr Maxwell, Is the best Doctor. He is kind, compassionate. Spends adequate time and listens to all your medical needs. Yvette in his office is excellent in Customer Service. She is awesome.
They’re denying my prescriptions. I will have to take this medication for the rest of my life, but I need to be seen to get a refill? I don’t even live in the same state anymore. Receptionist was nasty and not helpful.
My favorite doctor by far. I have had the best experience, including customer service. 5 Stars all the way!
He is always kind and understanding, and really is dedicated to listening and getting your problems solved. Plus he has a cool bolo tie collection.
Dr Maxwell is an excellent doctor and his staff is consistently helpful, friendly and professional. Like many other reviews have mentioned Dr Maxwell takes time to listen to you and makes you feel valued. He is very through in describing your test/ lab results as well as explaining different treatment paths and why he thinks one path is the best. Recently I was out in a new medication and when I started having negative side effects I was able to message Dr Maxwell through their patient portal and he messaged me back the same day and had a new prescription ready for me soon after that. I can't recommend Dr Maxwell high enough!!!
I would, without reservation, recommend Dr. Maxwell to someone looking for a PCP in Tucson. love Dr. Maxwell. He has been my PCP for nearly 20 years. My husband and 4 sons (two with developmental disabilities) have Dr. Maxwell as their PCP as well. What I like about him most is that he treats me like a person, not just a patient. He is the only physician who was able to help me resolve my issues with back pain.
Dr. Maxwell really goes above and beyond to help. He and his staff have also been very kind, funny and attentive.I called recently about a health concern and he was able to hold a video teleconference with me to check up on those concerns within a short time--I've never been able to get such a rapid response from a doctor, and with such ease.I would recommend going here, he listens and provides great input. They also have a patient portal you can go to on your own time to view your health documentation, as well as message them with any added questions or concerns.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
