Melissa Levine's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Levine is so competent and attentive and I have always had a pleasant experience with her. Her office receptionists can be a little dismissive and rude, but everyone else is super pleasant.

This physician is NOT sensitive to the intricacies and complications of patients who struggle with obesity. It is absolutely unacceptable in our society to shame the patient for them not knowing how to lose the weight. It is the responsibility of the health care provider to educate, coach, and encourage the patient. If the medical provider is unknowledgeable and incompetent at weight loss, the have the obligation to REFER to other healthcare providers who CAN help. My mother received no or treatment plan for her weight loss challenges with Dr. Levine; instead, Dr. Levine shamed her and, apparently, Dr. Levine's brilliant intervention was to tell my mom to "just lose weight". This is abusive behavior by a medical provider. I have been a patient of Dr. Levine's for 18 years. I bet the staff hate to see me come in, because she takes all the time she needs to let's me explain my problem and what is so great about that is she LISTENS! And next she trys to to help me. She does not half do anything. I think she has a great staff and her receptionist is always busy and I always get a smile!

Very unprofessional : Drop a patient during pandemic after 30 years of being my PCP, over one phone call to the receptionist who was incompetent. Drop a patient who is disabled due to PTSD and being forced to seek out another PCP during COVID-19. Drop a patient without even a phone call to fully understand what is happening to the patient. Dropping a patient 12 days before the next scheduled appointment and when a prescription is due forcing the patient to scramble to get a new PCP for appointment and prescription.

Absolutely worst medical experience I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE. No introduction,straight to computer,seldom made eye contact & was very cold,unwelcoming & unempathic.

I very much enjoy having Dr. Levine as my primary physician. I like the fact that she is a straight shooter and won't sugar coat things. Office staff and assistants are also excellent.

Dr. Levine has been my PCP for roughly 25 years. She is very direct and firmly stresses pro-active, healthy life-style choices “now”; in order to make it easier on you in the later years of life. She takes her time on check-ups; and will ask follow up questions on past health conditions that I had forgotten about. I would also like to mention that she is non judgmental, very caring and has a sense of humor. Everyone on her support staff is friendly and helpful. I am so grateful that I have Dr. Levine following my health.

I feel very fortunate to be able to go to Dr. Levine. She is very knowlegable in a lot of medical fields. I have gone to other doctors who just got frustrated with my problem &amp; she came up with an answer very quickly that worked.She and her staff are the best.
