List of MIchael Patton's Reviews
Dr. Michael Patton is young, inexperienced, arrogant and condescending. He doesn't care about his patients. Keeps having you come back so he can keep billing Medicare. He didn't do anything to help my husband. He's in it for the $$$. He now has a caring doctor with 30 years experience.
Avoid this quack at all costs. He’s in it ONLY for the $$$ and cares absolutely nothing about his patients. His only goal is to bleed your healthcare account dry. AVOID
Dr. Patton didn't care to listen to what was going on with me. Every time I said something he was very dismissive. I was referred to him due to multiple doctors being concerned with my issues and all he had to say to me was "some females have these problems." After some tests, I had a follow up appointment, he walked in the room, said my results were normal, and pointed me to the exit. Such a waste of time and money.
Dr Patton was very thorough and caring when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He performed surgery with a positive outcome!
At 1st appointment Dr. Patton walked in the exam room to see me. He said he had viewed my MRI of my kidney and saw the mass that needed to be removed. He went on to explain directly to me that he would have to cut me up 12 inches on my left front (showed me the size of cut with his hands). Then told me that he would not do the surgery because there might be a lot of bleeding because of my diabetes which was all over the place. Dr. Patton told me he was going to refer me to a Radiologist who would remove the mass, BUT that the Radiologist was going to go through my back to get the mass and I was going to have a lot of pain. Doctors always tell you the risk of any surgery. This doctor gave me a horror story. I am a cancer survivor, had my breast removed and reconstructed. I didn't have horror pain! My surgeon didn't try to frighten me to death. No manners.
We would not recommend Dr. Patton. My husband had what was supposed to be outpatient surgery and ended up with 5 days in the hospital. This was due to Dr. cutting my husbands bladder. Dr. sent my husband home day 2 and one hour later we had to go back to the hospital, as my husband had profuse bleeding. I kept calling the office and after numerous calls and demanding the Dr. call us, finally he called. We asked the Dr. to meet us at the hospital and he refused. I told him he must call the ER with instructions. If he truly cared about his patient he would have readmitted my husband under his service and my husband, who was in pain and profuse bleeding, would not have been left on a gurney in the ER for 5 hours. Monday when he was finally better the Dr. showed up. It is great to be a doctor, as my husband is a retired doctor, but you need to show interest in your patient not just performing surgery. Once home we called the office and asked dr. to return our call. No courtesy follow up.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
