List of Nelson Sandoval's Reviews
Caring, a bit abrupt but very capable. Has an in house lab,
Dr. Sandoval is the best doctor I have ever had. He is a brilliant internal medicine doctor, and an expert at managing my diabetes, chronic fatigue, and cardiovascular issues. He is patient and takes the time to listen to all of my concerns, he always gets to the bottom of what is causing my symptoms. He is very kind and attentive and I would recommend him above any other PCP in a heart beat.

I just watched the staff refuse to call 911 for an emergency in the lobby, “We can’t call, you need to call yourself.” I’m not sure if this is a liability concern but it’s a little strange to have someone respond to “Hey call 911.” with “We can’t.”
I like Dr Sandoval, BUT, his front office staff are losers.
I have no issues with Dr Sandoval himself. His staff however is the worst I’ve ever encountered. Completely unreliable and even argumentative. A week ago I left a message with the medical assistant for a referral and was told that I would get a call back when it went through. Well the referral went though but I received no call. I asked the receptionist why I didn’t get a call and her answer was, “ because it’s been hectic”. How am I supposed to get the medical attention that I need with this lack of communication? This is not the first time I’ve had issues with Dr Sandoval’s staff. They’ve dropped the ball several times, from schedule appointments to call backs. They are rude and even evasive when asked simple questions. Including their name so that I can make a formal complaint about their attitude. It’s hard to believe the level of unprofessionalism of Dr Sandoval’s staff. I hope he does something about this soon because it unfortunately reflects poorly upon him. This doesn’t have any affect on my belief that Dr Sandoval is competent at his profession. But the lack of competency of his staff is so overwhelming I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere.
Well liked, honest. Keeps his iwn lab on hand. Has some knowledge and recommends herbs as well !!
Upon trying to schedule my first appt with the Dr. I spoke with a very confused and inefficient staff member. After being put on hold for some time and given to someone else I found my appt. had not been made by the first staff member. I hesitate to get involved with the Dr. who I understand is very good for fear my record, medications etc. will be made a mess of.
Always feel better when I get out of his office, is a caring and pretty much takes care of my ailments on first try. Very personable. Recommend 100%.
Over the years he has dealt with a number of issues for me and my wife .. always practical... Listens. Willing to see us on short notice whenever necessary. Always. We are 83 years so lots of things come up. Staff quality has its ups and downs... but the measure should be the quality of his doctoring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
