List of Philip Galasso's Reviews
Dr Galasso ALWAYS spends the time needed for me to keep him up to date with my multiple issues. His staff is always retuning calls within 24 hours with the doctor’s response and instructions. He is patient and very caring.
Have gone to Dr Galasso for 20 years. He is patient and thorough. Never hurried. Thoughtful, listens and answers questions, offering solutions to problems. He's the best!
Have been going to Dr Galasso for 20 years. He has been patient and thorough. Never rushed. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He has good solutions to health problems and refers patients when necessary. Very caring and compassionate.
BIG in ego... small in competence.
As a woman with an IUD, he told me multiple times about when he worked with a native woman who had a gross infection with an IUD. Dude, don't tell horror stories that have no bearing on me. That's very unprofessional. Also, I consistently heard staff loudly discuss patient medical issues while also berating me about HIPPA.
1) At my annual physical, Dr. Galasso asked if I'd like a prescription to treat some minor acne. I told him I go annually to a dermatologist, but that I'd take the prescription and see how much the medicine costs before potentially filling the Rx (which I didn't). Galasso did not inform me that the mere scribbling of a prescription for a very "optional" treatment would change my no-cost check up into a full cost diagnostic visit. 2) I called to dispute the charge, explained the situation to an assistant at the office, and after she checked with Galasso, was told "no" through the assistant. I was irritated, but I paid the bill. 3) When time for my next appt, due to my experience I requested to switch to another Dr. in the practice. I was told, again through an assistant, that Galasso said "no". Q: What kind of doctor doesn't have the courtesy to speak to his patient personally when there is a conflict and then tries to hold the patient hostage in his practice? A: Dr. Galasso

Friendly staff, caring Doctor.
My mother has been seeing Dr. Galasso for close to 20 years and thinks the world of him. He is professional and knowledgeable, yet personable. She's doesn't trust doctors in general, but she definitely trusts Dr. Galasso.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
