I'm so happy to see my mom without any more pain. She had a speedy recovery and all her questions were answered.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. First time I visited was pleasant. I came back 6 months later for same injury and was accosted for not doing exercises that were given to me on a piece of paper. I asked about a physical therapy referral and was basically ignored. The X-ray tech also man handled me when taking pictures. There were lots of elderly people in the waiting room and I certainly hope this office doesn’t treat them they way they treated me. Absolutely horrible bedside manor. No compassion for people in pain.

I was having a conversation with my mother about her visit with Dr Smith. She mentioned he was very attentive and answered all her questions with patience and kindness. She was so happy and comfortable with him.

The lady that sets up appointment is unprofessional and rude ..i havent even go there just yet and wont be because of her ..

Love this doctor so much! Dr. Preston J Smith is humble, gentle, caring, and just a really nice human, as well as being an outstanding surgeon. The staff at Arizona Orthopedics are cheerful and friendly, and I feel like I truly do matter to them. Dr. Smith is always up to date on the current, newest research and options, and is willing to discuss questions or concerns with me. My joint replacement surgery was smooth, recovery was swift, and aftercare was impeccable. Also, he has a secret knack for giving nearly painless cortisone injections! (For this reason alone he would get 5 stars from me but he truly earns a solid 5 in the other categories as well).

I had referrals to many hip surgeons prior to Dr.Smith. I was severely overweight at the time and was told to lose weight and return at a later time. Dr. Smith took the time to explain to me why the weight loss is beneficial for this type of surgery. It was a absolute blessing to have him operate on me. I have a new lease on life and can get back to living with out pain. This DR has changed my life and I am honored to have him as my surgeon. Thank You Dr.Smith and the whole AZ ORTHO CLINIC. 🙏 ❤️

He evidently was too busy to get back to me with test results. I had to ask my primary care doctor to explain for me, I will find someone who has time for me.

Miracle worker! I am proud to say that he did my hip replacement and I am very very very very happy 😊

Can't comment on his surgical skills since I don't need knee or hip surgery. As a (general) physician his "skills" are completely lacking. He said he would make a referral for a MRI. He didn't; he didn't again when I called; he did on the second call but it took a week to do so. When the MRI came back, I got a copy of the results and read them. Indicated that hip and knee were almost normal, but spine had one moderate and 2 minor issues. Waited 3 days. He didn't call, so I called his office. Waited 3 more days. He called. Told me what the MRI said; duh. I asked what's next. He said, not his job. That I should talk to a spine surgeon or a pain management specialist. I asked which he recommended. He said 50/50, take your pick. I pursued ... which one. He said a surgeon would do surgery, pain management would try non surgical process. Duh. I said I prefer to avoid surgery. He said he would send referral to Pima Pain Mgmt. I got a call from Pima Pain 3 weeks later.
