Best GI Dr. Around. I have a hard time finding Doctors that I like and Dr. Iftikhar is a Great GI Dr. that I actually like!!!I suggest him 100%

I got there early but they saw me right away anywayThe staff efficient without being rude and when I saw the Dr he listened to me and read the paperwork I presented to hi.. he made his determination and I was scheduled for my procedure immediately. It was totally painless!

I spoke with Dr. Iftikhar briefly during one of my hospital stays at Northwest. He will now be handling my liver treatment. I like the Dr. and feel he is qualified should I require a liver transplant.

Unfortunately I was not impressed with office itself. Was asked for I.D. and I didn’t have a physical copy with me at the time. The gal told me that I was going to have to reschedule if I didn’t have I.D.. That was a 1st NEVER have I gone to a doctors appointment asked for I.D. And much less told I would have to reschedule if I didn’t have one. She then looked at her system and said never mind that my info had already been updated dated. They also require you to wear a mask, but yet staff wearing them on chin unless someone walks up to desk and then they pull it over mouth and nose if you’re lucky. Can’t really complain about the doctor. He was thorough but he too had a mask that get falling and he kept coughing while in exam room.

Horrible doctor. Never looks up from his computer screen. He appeared annoyed when asked questions. Never got any straight answers. He performed two ERCPs on me, saw me his office two weeks before the last one, was in hospital at the foot of my bed, looking straight at me asking “where is my patient”, because never having looked up from his computer screen, he had no idea what I looked like!

The appt. Was fine Dr. Iftikar is a good honest doctor with answers for our questions. He has refered us to the Banner liver transplant team for the appropriate treatment to help my wife. He has gone the extra step for us, we appreciate his great care!
