List of Richard A Cohn's Reviews
I’ve been a patient of Dr Cohn fir over 3 years now. He is dedicated to his patients, and when I was new he was very thorough in questioning me about symptoms and family history, as sometimes I forget what to ask ...
Dr. Cohn is now working from Dr. Lee Goldberg's practice at 3955 E Ft. Lowell Rd., Ste 113, Tucson, AZ 85712 and the phone number is (520) 323- 7277
Dr. Cohn told me I had a mitral valve prolapse that could be corrected with surgery. I went to get a second opinion and another test. What I discovered is how dangerous Dr. Richard A. Cohn is. I did not have a mitral valve prolapse. He should have his license taken away from him.
This doctor is outstanding. He is exceptionally competent and pleasant to his patients. I would recommend him and his staff to anybody needing a cardiologist. His staff enjoys working for him and it shows! Jim Feldmayer
Dr. Cohn is extremely knowledgeable and caring. His staff, front office and nursing are amazing, friendly and helpful. You are in great hands with Dr. Cohn and his staff!
Dr Cohn listens to your concerns and asks questions which helps people like me who forget what to ask, inform him of symptoms and family history. He explains things in a clear , understandable manor, without condescension. I highly recommend him. His techs and office staff are friendly as well.
Nice personality, BUT... dangerous. He ignored significant warning signs that I presented with in an emergency appointment made due to me feeling so poorly... my BP was 80/60, but Dr. Cohn didn't even listen to my heart or check me out in any way... even though I had had a history of cardio-myopathy HIGH BP and AFIB...all he did was to reduce dosage on one of my meds. Two days later I was in the hospital with life-threatening AFIB and other major issues. Was critical and almost died.
I have been a patient of Dr Cohn since the late 90's! I normally do not write reviews, but lately really appreciate them myself when looking up doctors, so thought I would rate mine to help others. Dr Cohn is very patient, really listens to any concerns and takes his time going over all results and compares to past tests. His staff is just amazing and make everything run smoothly! They follow up with you after any tests to give results much faster than any other office I deal with! great guy!!
He's an excellent cardiologist. Thorough and patient. His staff is extremely polite, courteous, and they CARE. My mom, dad, brother, neighbor, and various other MD's all see him as a patients as well. Highly recommend.
This office is out of date with procedures and knowledge of treatments. They refused to send records to UofA TAVR clinic and, contrary to regulations, Dr Cohn still handwrites his patient notes. He withheld information on current procedures to correct a failing aortic valve. Dr Cohn was asked on several visits if there was an option other than open heart surgery to fix the valve he said no we just have to support the symptoms. The UofA TAVR clinic has been open since 2011, -1% risk ,valve rep

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
