Roy Loewenstein's Online Review Report Card

I was a patient for a few years. At first a decent doctor. Then over time was combative and simply arrogant. No self awareness of how to speak with respect to a patient. I fired him and explained to him why. He didn’t even seem to care. I would not recommend him at all

I appreciate all the hard work and dedication that all the staff have including Dr Lowenstein to take care of their patients. I've had a lot of complex medical problems that doctor Lowenstein and his staff have worked very hard to help me manage. I could not imagine being a part of any other practice. I would highly recommend this practice to friends, family and people in my community. Thanks again for all your hard work

Unprofessional and petty. Their facility still requires masks. Fine. I asked why and mentioned the studies I had read that show that the basic masks are all but totally useless. He then proceeded to give me a lecture on fake news that lasted through most of the rest of the visit. 30 minutes later he still wasn't done telling me how much smarter he is than me because he's a doctor. He compared me to an astronaut arguing with a flat earther. I didn't intend to go back, but my wife made me a follow-on for blood work. This time I met with his PA. I was there to get a prescription covered until I could get back in to see my sleep doctor. She wouldn't do it so this was a complete waste of time. Then she tries to schedule me for a follow-on visit and I said that I don't think I'll be returning. A few weeks later I get a letter from his office telling me they are refusing to treat me again!! Reading it was like watching a cartoonish version of someone who knows they're going to get dumped trying to beat their partner to the punch.

He sees me often- he is very intuitive- direct- on the same page with me on preventative care.

Dr Loewenstein and all of his staff are great. Kind considerate , thoughtful and thorough. The office staff are all easy to deal with. They Will go out of their way to get problems solved . If they make a mistake they will own it. That alone is extremely rare. I might add that mistakes are not common. Appointments are on time and they ask that we as patients do the same. Excellent doctor and staff. Always friendly and informative. They seem to really care which is rare these days. Like the new place a lot.

I too was turned away because I was 6 minutes late due to an accident on my way to the office. I hobbled in with a broken toe but was still denied access to my provider. Dr. Lowenstein doesn't seem to listen to you. He changed a prescription that was ordered by my kidney specialist who told me to ignore what Dr. Lowenstein had said. However, I love Monika his NP so will continue to go there for the time being.

My husband and I both like and respect Dr. Leowenstein. His staff is very efficient and we have always received the best of care from all of them.

My father has advanced Alzheimer’s. They refused to see him today because he was 25 minutes late for his appointment. He had an accident as we were leaving and had to change his clothes. I tried to call to tell them what was happening, and they put me on hold. Terrible inhumane service. The waiting room was empty, by the way. And, I don’t live here and came from 1000 miles away to care for him, so his wife could get a break.
