Timothy L. Hodges's Online Review Report Card

Just had Lasik done today. I have always had difficulty with my eyes sich as putting contacts in or even getting my pressure taken as I have an uncontrollable reflex to shut my eyes close. That being said Dr Hodges, Courtney, and I believe Josh? (Sorry I couldnt remember but the gentleman who helped me move from one table to the next during surgery) were all extremely professional and kind to a difficult paitent like myself. Best time and money ever spent (7 hours after).

The most efficient staff I have ever experienced I have ever encountered in a Doctor's office. There are so many moving parts and steps to cataract surgery (I never knew this) and they were all on top of their responsibility iulities, whether there in the office or answering questions about my post op follow on care. Dr Hodges and Dr Calderon were very open and honest about expectations. Very calming and easy to talk to. I had my first eye done on ( Nov 9) and the second eye yesterday. I can see so much better now. I must give some extra Kudos to the surgery staff. I am what they call "a hard stick" when it comes to IVs and finding a vein. They were great; listened, took their time and gave suggestions for future "sticks". I can't single out individuals because everyone from the front desk to the surgeons was GREAT!

I had the refractive lens surgery and am so thankful for perfect vision again. Quick surgery and staff is kind and efficient.

I have been a Pt of Dr. Hodges for 5 years, with 2x cataract and 1 secondary surgeries excellent friendly service and staff then. But recent visit awful. I arrived early waited total over 90 minutes with reg exam segments taking total of 15 minutes! Told only needed 20 minutes wait for dilation-waited 45. I was told only one doc for entire clinic now, Hodges only doing surgeries, and “emergencies take priority”! Very few Pts in office. New doc arrogant, in a hurry, zero personality-took other Pts ahead of me, one he literally “danced down the hall” in front of me to music to greet. Spent 5 minutes with me. Took over 2hours of my time for 15 min exams. Unprofessional and patronizing staff.

Had cataract surgery - extremely pleased with the outcome. Elected to purchase the multifocal IOL which was a very worthwhile decision.Excellent, through exam. Friendly, professional staff. Excellent facilities. Great follow-up.

I recently got LASIK eye surgery performed at Hodges Eye Care and am 100% impressed with both the results and the care that I received. I originally signed up for SMILE, but after the various checks and tests I did upon arrival, it was determined that SMILE may not be the procedure that was best for me. Dr Hodges and his team clearly explained the pros and cons of both procedures, and were able to answer all questions I had before going forwards.By far, the best part of the whole experience was the surgical operation itself. I was pretty nervous going in and during the operation. Dr Hodges clearly explained to me what I should be expecting during each step of the procedure, which really helped to put me at ease. It's certainly not the most pleasant of experiences to have to go through, but Hodges Eyecare made it the best experience it could have been, and I'm very, very happy with the results.Thank you so much!

Dr. Hodges is really nice and caring. Had surgery to remove pinguicula and since that day l have not had eye pain (which caused strong headaches) and my eyes look clean and healthy now. I am very satisfied, happy and will recommend this place to trust them with your beautiful eyes!

OMG! I do not know where to start! All i know is this "If it had not been for Dr. Calderon and the whole team at Hodges Eye Care I would be in deteriorating health!!! I went in to the office complaining of issues with my eyes. Dr. Calderone detected that I had issues systemic in my body that was causing some serious eye injury! He detected this when my primary care had missed it!!!! His treatment and somewhat detective work saved me from some pending serious health issues that would not be able to be reversed! I am so grateful to the team of professionals at Hodges!!!! Thanks to them my quality of life has gotten better since the day I sought help!

I came to Hodges on an emergency basis after I poked my self in the eye with a metal pole. As someone that worked in the ophthalmology field for almost a decade I could not be more impressed with the staff and their service. The front staff was friendly and worked me right in. Once there I was called back by the technician Melissa very promptly. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable while I waited for the Dr. I could tell Melissa genuinely cares about her patients a trait that is hard to find now a days.. The Dr saw me quickly and I was on my way to healing in no time. My follow up visit went the same way quick, efficient and wonderful. I would recommend Hodges to anyone.
