I had surgery at Oro Valley Hospital, a wonderful facility, and the entire staff there was so professional and kind - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Chen not only is technically superb, but also has great bed side professional manner. One of the rare kind you would find during today's money driven society. He is very patient and kind with my 80 year only mom. My mom has visited over 10 doctors before. Most of them are good. She moved to Tucson about 14 years ago. She started with Dr. Chen 4 year ago. She thinks Dr. Chen is the best of the best.

Dr. Chen has been my doc for 20 years. He delivered our children and helped me through so much more. Every step of the way, he has listened, helped, and understood me. He is patient and thorough. An absolutely wonderful doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Chen upon the departure of my primary OB/GYN. I was able to get in with Dr. Chen within four weeks. My matter was not urgent so the time frame was definitely reasonable. Dr. Chen listened to my concerns, however a bit annoyed and rushed when I tried explaining my whole situation. Once the history was out of the way, he listened and acknowledged my situation. After establishing a plan of care, the execution and timing went smoothly. His explanations of the diagnosis, care, and expectations were well communicated. I appreciate the thoroughness he gave me.

dr victor chen while i was under his care with the pregnancy of my second son in 2002 placed me at 5 months along during pregnancy on 3 extremely dangerous medications celexa seroquel and lamictal my son was born 4 weeks early severly disabled when i contacted the office and dr chen himself he instructed his staff to then destroy all my medical records completely through numerous times i have called his office along with legal aid he has refused to answer any calls and does not return calls either this is an absolute terrible dr who should not be practicing he should have his license revoked my son is disabled for life because of this dr....

I moved here from California. I asked around for referrals on an OBGYN and Dr. Chen’s name came up many times! I just had a hysterectomy and have been wanting one for over 10 years and I’m so thankful for his professionalism and amazing caring!

This was my first appointment with Dr Chen and I was extremely impressed! He is kind, very knowledgeable and explained things well. I have never had a male OBGYN and have always avoided it, but I have zero reservations now. On that note, I appreciate that during exam time his female medical assistant came in the room. His staff was quick to follow up for surgery scheduling and was very professional. I would highly recommend!
