Went to see Dr Alemu a few years ago about getting on PreP. I felt very judged and like he didn’t want to help at all. What sucks is he apparently is the only Dr in Yuma who will prescribe Truvada. I was referred to him by my PCP. I ended up using my insurance’s virtual Dr to get on PreP.

No bedside manner. Refused to look at my medical records and prescribed medication without reviewing the current meds I was taking (I have a number of medical conditions). Also refused to look at the most recent test results relating to the medical condition I was seeing him about. He was in and out of the appointment in 5 mins or less. This doctor is A-1. God made man and this man is wonderful. Many doctors think only of the money, he thinks more of how to Help his patients. My only beef is that he gets a bigger office and a bigger TV. God Bless You.
