Mallappa Neelappa's Online Review Report Card

My husband has been seen by this man for 2 years. Usually the service is acceptable and the staff friendly. The last few months the appointments have been mismanaged and the Dr. Has been late or missing appointments (like we are there and waiting for an hour and he somehow is not in the building). But the main problem has been with prescription WRITING. We have no ability to write our own prescription’s, but somehow Dr. Neelapa doesn’t know how to fill them out properly. My husband takes the prescriptions to the pharmacy and has to return to get new ones written. This last time it took 4 times and 2 weeks to get the right prescription and the DR. Informed my husband that he won’t write another one! I have no idea why he spoke to us instead of the pharmacy, but the staff is inept and the Dr. Might need to retire. I will be reporting this place to the BBB for investigation. Avoid this place at all costs.

Dr Neelappa, saved my wife's life when she was in the hospital almost 20 years ago, with a serious case of Pneumonia. We had to leave the Yuma area in 2013. One of the hardest parts of leaving, was Dr Neelappa. Thank you Doctor, for the many years of being our Doctor.

My mother has been seeing this Dr for several years and was missed diagnosed. She was diagnosed with bronchitis and as it turned out she had Covid-19 pneumonia and is in critical condition. He never did a covid test just an X-ray!

This is an amazing doctor who take care of his patients like relatives or friends. This type of doctors who make the extra effort to keep a patient in good health, are the one that we need in this community. Congratulations doctor Mallappa Neelappa for your dedication and great job!

I read through all these reviews and though I had made a mistake by scheduling my appointment here, I was ABSOLUTELY wrong the staff and dr are the BEST I was in a bad situation being a new patient went in next day breathing test next day results wow just unbelievable I cant thank them enough for helping me out so quick and I highly recommend Dr.Neelappa and his staff

While Dr. Neelappa is a very intelligent Dr and is prominent in his profession, he has the rudest staff I've ever seen in a Drs. Office before The only thing I can think of is that they are some fake people 😂 in his office cause they pretend to be nice but they are all snooty and rude as hell!!!!

Dr. Neelappa: Is A Wonderful Doctor.He Takes Care Of His Patients With Care And Compassion.Many Of My Family Member Have Been Attended By Him And His Practice.Including Myself Currently.He's Very Respectful And Explains Anything You Aren't Sure About. I Highly Recommend Dr. Neelappa.

Could not relate to him. I'm hearing impaired and it did seem to matter to him. Was other issues related to my pulmonary paperwork I brought. That caused an issue with me...we'll see what happens later!

He charges expenses to you when you're in the hospital that aren't authorized. I told him not to come to my room and not to treat me, yet he charged my hospital account up until I left and I never saw him after I told him not to come back. Never sent a bill to my home either and then he turned it over to collection. What a crook.
