Dr. O’Day Al Rabadi does not explain the plan of care to his patients and he most definitely has a poor bedside manner. Here is why I feel this way: While hospitalized, I tried to order a sandwich and the kitchen staff told me, “No food for you, you have a procedure scheduled.” I think It would have been more appropriate to hear that from the doctor, not the kitchen. He does not review patient’s medical records prior to seeing the patient. If he did, he would have seen that I just had an angiogram done recently. He is argumentative. When I declined to have another angiogram done, he started raising his voice and pointing fingers. He seems greedy. Probably because he missed out on the $2,500.00 he would have made from another angiogram. He is too authoritarian. He told me that “He was the doctor!” Well, I had to remind him that he “Was not God.” Human Resources should have Dr. Oday Rabadi read the YRMC’s Patient’s Bill of Rights.

This was my first visit with Dr. Oday Al Rabaqdi. To sum up my experience in one word would be to say EXCELLENT. He is extremely personable, oh so knowledgeable - cuts through the chase so to say, and I found an immediate connection with his confidence, professionalism and most importantly his kindness.
