Dr A did my cataracts. Options for upsells were well explained, but not pushed as I hear some places do Reception and scheduling is professional and the surgery was flawless (no upgrades)
I want to be very clear here, I was prescribed eye drops that I was allergic to, when I told him he was not once asked how they affected me or was concerned about it. When I continued with a severe swollen eyeball after 2 weeks and various side affects, I called and was set up with a Dr. Scot who did a CYA meeting with me and sneered at me for thinking it could possibly be from the prednisone eye drops I was allergic to or cortisone and again he did not once ask what symptoms I was having. I was so disgusted & fear, I drove 1500 miles to my original allergy specialist, I received 2 epeniphrine shots to try to bring the swelling down in a 2 day period and several other prescriptions to help contain the damage until I found another Dr., thank God! I was told to never go back to this clinic and seek help from another eye Dr. Everyone in the allergist office could see the swelling with the naked eye and were supportive and concerned, opposed to my last encounter at the Aeiillo Clinic!
I was treated as if my payment was most important part of visit. Scheduler lied to me= she said they would send in ins. claim & any money they received would be returned to me since I had to pay for surgery upfront. This was a lie. Sue in billing tried to tell me I signed a paper saying the ins. would not pay; what she showed me was not my signature. BEWARE if you go to this clinic. My vision is not improved and my eye is still irritated. I have documentation from ins. company that they did make a payment & I will try to resolve this 1 more time.
Excellent physician, lense implants went well :o) HOWEVER, dealing with the Surgery Center's 'payment disorder' is frustrating. It took me 3 months to get back what I overpaid. The Sx Center is acting as if it will go bankrupt soon. CAREFUL when you deal with them!!!
Great service
Never would I recommend him to anyone! He did cataract surgery on both eyes and while one was great the other is absolutely horrible. I went back twice and his associates said I have 2020 vision!! I’ve gone to 3 Drs here in San Luis Obispo an each was appalled. I’m having surgery tomorrow and it will be $3000 out of pocket. My Dr. actually apologized that I’ve had to go thru this.
Surgery went wrong and my uncle suffers from problems that Dr. Aiello's will not correct.
Very caring physician. I am so glad he chose Yuma AZ
A doctor who runs a little late is the doctor who takes great care in helping his patients, providing answers, answering questions. Dr. Aiello is thorough, compassionate and professional in his approach to his practice. Thank you, Dr. Daniel Aiello, a doctor worth waiting for. EXCELLENT DOCTOR... vision...
The entire staff at Aiello Eye Institute is awesome! I was completely misdiagnosed by another optometrist in town and as a result my eye condition got worse due to wrong treatment and medication. Dr. Aiello identified the problem immediately. I will highly recommend him!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
