I’ve had a mix of experiences at Dr Chavez’s office. Some days he’s great and others not so much. Today was one of the bad ones. Went in to check my lab results and he made derogatory comments about the way I looked, and made comments about my weight even though I weigh 168 lbs and am not overweight by any stretch of the imagination. I really hate to have to find a new DR but unfortunately that’s what must happen after this horrible experience.

He's a lazy doctor that charges my insurance $500 per visit...for nothing. He'll hurt patients to save his own ass. He has zero honor. He's just a bad guy.

I respect Dr. Chavez. He diagnosed my collapsed cervical vertebrae just from my explanation of pain and posture. He had me get an MRI just to make sure and exactly what he thought is exactly what it was. He has always been honest and listened to me. I trust him totally and I recommend him to everyone. I don’t trust most Yuma Doctors or Surgeons but I do trust him! He doesn’t tell you what you WANT to hear, he tells you WHAT the problem is. I’d rather have a blunt Dr., than one who goes around things. Than you Dr. Chavez!

I would give him ZERO stars if I could. Chavez doesn't ever seem to know what he's talking about. Constantly on Web MD. Answering service is always rude. He just milks the Insurance company. Don't even waste your time here. He needs to go back to med school. Also, he needs a new staff.

This doctor is under legal investigation by the Medical Board of Arizona for manipulating his patients to avoid problems he was having with the DEA. He loves money, not the people that charges $500 a visit to "treat" with his all female non-doctor staff filling and signing the prescriptions for him.

He risked my life because he was afraid of what the DEA might do to him for over-prescribing. He loudly verbally abused and degraded me to make me accept treatment for seizures, which I do not have. He charges Medicaid $500 per visit and charges patients $30 for access to their own medical records.

They schedule appts and wouldn't call about and after missing three they kick you out their office I was left with no consultation from xrays of my chest its Ridiculous.....
