Yvonne Mckinney's Online Review Report Card

My husband tested positive for CoVid on Friday at the urgent care but I tested negative. I started having symptoms on Sunday. I have been really sick. I know I have CoVid but this office is refusing to treat me. I have been going 3 days severely sick and untreated because they said they have to have records from the urgent care before seeing me. I get that you need to get records but to refuse to even allow me to see a doctor or get treatment for sickness that is killing people is ridiculous. I've never seen such a thing.

Run don't walk away from this practice. I should have read the terrible substandard reviews prior to accepting this practice. The doctor,herself is pleasant. She attended to my needs while in my presence. THE MAJOR PROBLEM: I WAS PROFILED TO BE SPOKEN TO IN SPANISH BECAUSE OF MY LAST NAME. SO WHEN WE HAD A PHONE VISIT, SHE STARTED OUT IN SPANISH. THE STAFF KEPT CALLING ME IN SPANISH. MY CHART STATES ENGLISH. I WAS PRESCRIBED BLACK BOX WARNING MEDICINE WHICH ON THE 3RD DAY GAVE ME TERRIBLE ARYTHMIA AND PALPITATIONS AND LOW BLOOD PRESSURE. I CALLED TO SPEAK WITH THE DOCTOR SEVERAL TIMES. NO WAY. "JUST KEEP TAKING THE MEDICINE" PER SEVERAL OF THE RUDEST,STAFF I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. 20 MINUTES ON HOLD. NO CALLS BACK. "JUST DO WHAT WE TELL YOU TO DO"..WHERE DID SHE GET THESE PEOPLE? FROM A PRISON TO WORK PROGRAM? I ASKED WHY I WAS GIVEN A MED. THAT WAS INVOLVED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR DEATHS...."JUST TAKE IT." I HAD ECOLI POISONING AND WASNT EVEN TOLD. ZERO STAR GHETTO OFFICE

Shittiest Dr I have ever been to also the staff is worthless, my first visit I was turned down because I was a smoker, the receptionist could smell it even with a face mask. I needed to see a dr because I just had my left leg amputated last week and this pos receptionist turned me away, I advise to stay away from this practice.

If you're in search for quality and professional healthcare services PLEASE KEEP LOOKING! This doctors office is absolutely horrible!! The front desk staff member Administrative Assistant- Veronica has terrible communication skills, rude, nasty and unprofessional with handling the doctor's office patients.. Veronica is not only a staff member at the Adelanto office but she travels and work at the Victorville office as well!! Please beware of her unprofessional attitude while trying to make appointments via phone.. it's very unfortunate that patients that are already dealing with illness etc have to call to their doctor's office to be seen but instead get treated so terribly by staff members and instead of making matters better their go-to- procedure is to tell the patient's if their not happy with the service"Go elsewhere"..I had already intended to go elsewhere (find another PCP) after the verbal altercation I had experience with staff member Veronica... ** ALWAYS check reviews!!

1000 words is not enough to tell the story of how horribly Dr. mckinney & her incompetent staff handled my first pregnancy & miscarriage. They mad an already tragic event even more terrible. They wouldn’t even refer me to an OBN till the results from my urinealysis & blood test confirmed I was pregnant, & we didn’t get the results backs for 2 weeks, AFTER I had already miscarried (confirmed by going to the ER), but according to our insurance plan, we didn’t even Need to wait for a referall. Plus, when I had called the Dr when I was afraid I was miscarrying, she said for me to wait till the next day where she would try & get me the results, & when I called the next afternoon, I was told to wait for a call back because she was busy. When I realized it was 15 minutes past their closing time & I called back, I was scolded by the nurse for not calling earlier & then by Mckinney for not going to the ER, even though my mom & I both heard her say to wait for the test results. Horrible.

Tried to make an appointment for a mass I have in my breast to be checked out. The girl who answered the phone did not want to schedule my appointment without proof that I actually have a mass in my breast. I explained ive been having a lot of pain and my old dr no longer accepts my insurance, and when i asked why i cannot be seen she said it was "office policy". She was very rude and instead of just scheduling an appt to see the dr she refused.

I have been seeing Dr McKinney for about 8 years and have never had any issues with her or the office staff. Dr. McKinney is great, she always spends her time with me and I never feel rushed through my visits. I do know for those saying they never get to see the doctor just the nurse or PA, you do have to specify when making the appointment what provider you want to see. Best office I have had so far. I'm not sure where any bad reviews come from, I would definitely give them a try! I love them!

This is the perfect doctor for you if you have no health problems or complications. If you DO need help, DO NOT go to this doctor. She is rude, misleading, and close minded. She will change your information on your chart if she feels a law suit coming her way. She will give you the run around and when you finally get her in a corner she will blatantly ignore and walk away from you. I've never been so disrespected!
