Rex E. Moulton Barrett's Online Review Report Card

After consulting with 3 plastic surgeons from my home town in Brazil, Rio, and 3 other doctors in the US, I decided to do my tummy tuck with flank liposuction with Dr. Moulton Barrett. Since my first consultation , which was in person, I knew I could follow what he was saying. He guided me through all the steps with so much knowledge and kindness. His years of experience are another plus.In addition, he went above and beyond to make my figure better by doing a side contour.I couldn't be happier with my results. I highly recommend him, and if I have to do another procedure In the future, I will not hesitate to contact him.Thank you so much:-)

The staff offers different prices to different people. SCAM - GO ELSEWHERE. THEY CHANGE THE PRICES FOR DIFFERENT PATIENTS!! I waited in the hallway lobby for and 1 hour and 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The staff also spoke across the hallway lobby to me about my protected information rather than walking closer to me in order to talk at a reasonable volume where my information would not be so easily heard. The staff gave differing information regarding consultation prices and refused to honor the consultation price of $100 offered on the phone and by both the offices. The office manager Angel was rude and suggested to the Doctor that I was accurately given pricing information. I attempted to speak w Dr. Moulton-Barrett and before I could not even say hello before he rudely and impatiently told me that I did not value his expertise!! I was able to get a word in explaining that I was not correctly charged and he rudely walked away saying he had nothing to offer and that I should speak with the staff. The only information offered to me in the consultation was to wait for my scar to heal. I spent and hour and 20 minutes plus $250 dollars to be told to wait to heal. I recieved no additional services. This is theft! I called several times to be sure of the pricing and the office manager Angel herself told me that the consultation price is $100! The consultation is only supposed to be $100, not $250. SCAM! Rude, inaccurate and alarming!! Another patient overheard the wrong pricing given to me and another patient over the phone. I called both offices a week after to confirm that the consultation price was $100, why was I charged $250?? When I asked about the correct pricing, the office manager told me that no one could corroborate my story. SCAM!! They offer different prices to different people! Go elsewhere. The doctor isn't aware of the misinformation caused by the admin staff! Go elsewhere. **In response - The content of this review is factual and accurate unlike your discriminatory pricing. If you upheld HIPPA policies properly, then the staff would not be yelling patient information across the hallway. This canned response doesn't make up for the poor experience I had there. Do better.** There are SEVERAL other options in the area that have better client/patient care.

Great and honest Doctor and fantastic staff

I had a keriod treatment here and very disappointed with the doctor and the staff. I had first tratment and with the doctor and for the follow up visit he diagnos that my scars will be gone eventually, and no more treatment needed (Even if i pay for the full cost of treatment on that day). I left unhappy with the payment but hoping that the scar will be gone like the doctor diagnosed. However the scar come back with in two weeks and even get bigger and worse than before. Not only that the treatment didn't work, but also when I call in, the receptionist was not professional about the information. She keep changing the rules about the payment and the system to make me pay extra for the office visit.

I had a Neck-lift and an upper lidBlepharoplasty done under local anesthesiaby Dr. Moulton Barrett. My surgery wentextremely well and without pain. I honestlyfeel that I would not have done it undergeneral anesthesia, since there are morecomplications related to being intubated anddeeply sedated. My recovery was also quickand I was back to work in 2.5 weeks. I amnow 2 months post- op and healing well.I am so happy with my results and now Ihave a more youthful neck a heart shapedface without having jowls and a sagginglower face. My eyes look refreshed andpeople definitely give me compliments butcan't tell I had plastic surgery. Dr. MoultonBarrett is a professional, kind and friendlysurgeon who listened to my concerns andexplained the procedure and what to expectpre and post op.His price is also amazingly good compared toother surgeons. I have to also mention thathis staff are very lovely especially the care Ireceived from Alma and Veronica. I wouldgive him 10 stars if I could.I was really blessed to have found a doctor Ican trust and will definitely recommend himto anyone looking for a plastic surgeon whois extremely competent and caring.Thank you,

Dr. Rex Moulton Barrett is by far the best surgeon in the East Bay. I had gone to 3 other consultations prior to walking into Dr. Barrett's office. He and his staff have gone above and beyond to make the whole process go smoothly and to make me feel at ease. I am currently 5 months post op and the care I have received is flawless! Not to mention the surgery was flawless!! All the way to being sent home with a home nurse for the first 24 hours. In my opinion Dr. Barrett, hands down has the knowledge and the know how to make the process as smooth as possible. The results I received have far surpassed my expectations. I am 100% elated with Dr. Barrett, his staff and my results. I honestly feel that I would not have gotten the same care and satisfaction if I had gone with someone else.

Dr Moulton-Barrett is by far the most amazing cosmetic surgeon I have ever worked with. I am close to 64, and had my fist procedures at 38. Never have I experienced the time spend, prior to scheduling a proceedure, nor the aftercare that I experienced, with any other doctor. I would not EVER go to any other doctor for a cosmetic procedure. His staff and nurses....are also amazing!

I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Rex Moulton-Barrett. This was my first surgery and my experience, plus results; phenomenal!!! If your looking for the best doctor, look no further. this doctor is highly qualified and gifted. He’s genuine and does what’s best for his patients. I am beyond happy and I truly wish I could give 100 stars.
