Dr. Winston provided care for my family member in a critical situation in the ER at St. Peter's Hospital. His accurate diagnosis, confident manner, and thoughtful explanations helped us make difficult decisions. If I ever need any heart or vascular procedures in his field, I would want Dr. Winston to be the surgeon. We are very grateful for his presence and expertise.

I had Dr. Winston for my Cardiac Catheterization procedure done at St. Peter's Hospital in May, 2018. I was very nervous not knowing the outcome, then he had an emergency and my procedure was delayed, but he was very proficient in telling my family all was "fine", and he came in and then spoke with me. I know he was very busy, but he did his job and I felt very comfortable with him. No doctor really has time for a bedside manner, but I left the hospital with great relief. I would recommend him.

I did not have the opportunity to meet Dr. Winston prior to my procedure. He took the time immediately prior to the procedure to explain in detail what was going to happen, and he was very patient answering our many questions. The results of the procedure were not what we had hoped for. Dr. Winston took the time to meet with my spouse immediately after the procedure, and he took the time to walk back to my area with my spouse to speak with me again.

Trust your gut when you are uncomfortable with a Dr!!!!!! I didn't...... If these comments help just one person, then this is worth it. He needs work on his coarse demeanor, his hurried responses regarding giving a diagnosis and his egotistical attitude. 6 months later and my calf is still hurting. I have an appointment with another cardio/interventionist. Praise GOD! ! !
