List of Allied Physicians Of California's Reviews
Unfortunately these insurance providers aren't even worth 1 star. I have no choice...I have to rate them to put a review.Worst customer service EVER. Been dealing with this insurance provider for a while now. Most unprofessional group that I've ever had to deal with. From horrible customer service, unprofessionalism, even speaking with their UN representatives and Managers...NO ONE ever gets back to you. They will refer you to their network of doctors (doctors may I add that don't 'have good credibility probably un-reputable degrees), you contact doctors (obviously i have not choice) and these locations and they are either no longer in service or not accepting patients. Why would you refer people to your in network of doctors knowing they cannot take you. They are an extremely limited of variety of doctors/specialist to choose fromPlease do yourselves a favor and try any other insurance than Allied Pacific of IPA!!! These people will waste your time, health, money and patience.....WORST insurance providers ever.
I received 3-4 calls for regular checkups and eye exam. I have never been there patient??? Also received a letter mailed to my home.
Phone number is WRONG!!!
If you are assigned to this medical group - CHANGE IT IMMEDIATELY. Here's why:They have 0 customer service here. My mom had a fracture spine and needed urgent medical attention. Called them to expedite the authorization - it was approved...so why the 1 star? They changed the authorization without informing us and now we are having to wait longer to see a doctor. Called the new doctor, was told she has to wait 2 weeks before she can be admitted - for a fractured spine. They have little knowledge or care for their patients. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
So far this is the worst experience with a health insurance I have ever experienced in my life. I have seen specialists, been to the E.R, had severe injuries and had surgeries and through all those experiences this one still is the worst. I have had an enormous amount of trouble getting an authorization in an acceptable amount of time for an MRI. They have screwed up authorization numbers, and screwed up getting it fixed, cost me time and energy and screwed me up with scheduling time off for work. You would expect more from a company in customer service but unfortunately they do not deliver. My hope in writing this review is that if anyone considering this service seriously seriously rethinks that before making a grave mistake.
My father has a very bad experience of Allied Physicians IPA group. They try to save money and not provide any needed support to patient. After my father came out from hospital and needs supply for daily use, they are not approve. A doctor Lee from IPA in hospital whom approve work orders in hospital has very bad attitude and lack of professionalism. When we called to customer support, no respond or no help from them. I am highly Not recommend this medical group for people. We are going to opt out from this group. Stay away from this medical group.
There's no customer service at all. They spend all the money marketing on Chinese radio tricking seniors to sign into their networks. However, $0 is spent on customer service. You are lucky to get to a live agent but forget about getting any question answered. The agent seems to be recruited from Walmart, had no clue in the field she is now in. Sad, looks like she is not (or ever will be) trained by the company.
wow.....now words! run
if you are signing up for any health insurance or medical/medicare and their name comes up, run run as far as you can they will literally kill you if it saves them $10.
I wish I could give them 0 star. Horrible customer service. Every time the doctor refers a specialist, they will change it to a doctor who charges less. If you call them, you will be holding for over 30 minutes, after you get a live person, she will ask you for your account information then will put you on hold for another 10 minutes, then you explain what happened, she will find all kinds of excuses not to correct the authorization. If you can, do yourself a favor not to use this medical group.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
