I'm so happy I have found John T Stewart, MD After 6 years of having kaiser for insurance I made a switch in careers and with that comes finding new health insurance providers and all the other fun stuff like dental and vision. I wasn't feeling to good back in January of this year and I was in a rush to find a doctor to talk to or that will take me in immediately for a check up. I ran across the information online for this office, I immediately called. I called in and the front office staff was so nice and very helpful, they gathered all my information needed and also answered all my questions. The best part of the phone call was that they had just gotten a cancellation so they squeezed me in the empty slot same day. The office is located at a corner, right off a busy street. If you find street parking...great but they also have a parking lot in the back of the building with a good amount of parking spaces.When I arrived to my appointment the office looked very well taken care of and organized. I walked in and straight to the checkin window, again staff was very pleasant and handed me paper work to fill out since I was a first time patient. Shortly after I was called in the office and like any doctor visit they ask you questions, take your vitals, height, weight, etc. After waiting in the room for just a few minutes my PA Dick Chuang came in and introduced himself. Overall visit went great, and I have decided to keep them as my primary doctor's office. They are great at returning phone calls and working with your schedule for appointments. The BEST part of this experience was that they also have a lab in office to withdraw blood so you don't have to go anywhere else, That just saves so much time. If your in the San Gabriel Valley and looking for a new doctor I totally recommend this office. Good Luck :)

I have gone to this office for care for many years and always seen a PA only once i saw Dr John Stewart their service is always being great my PA Sonia always helped me with my needs even when  i was being evicted from my apartment at that time she even wrote a letter to my landlord asking for more time and for that i am forever grateful !!it didn't work as the landlord just wanted more money and my health didn't mean anything to them . !but i really go when i know i need help my last visit i was running a fever for 2 days i had gone to dentist like a week before so i mention it to them and PA, but also having sore throat a so i asked her for antibiotics i guess my anxiety was so bad that she asummed i was already taking them so she got annoyed and scolded me for not following up with dentist instead of going to see her,,i assumed that when YOU need help you can go to them right??didn't like the way she treated me this time, but so happy with Melanie that she kindly gave me time off to rest and get better as i got many hours of sick days to use at work so i used a couple!but is nice when they treat you like you are not crazy with your symptoms i told her i had a 100.2 fever that am and she told me that is not even considered a fever??when your body is fighting infection you feel it ,soi didn't mean to annoy her with my visit but maybe she was having a bad day??never felt so bad after i left the office feeling worse than when i came in and  a little disappointed!! and  i hope it gets better!i am feeling a lot better with the antibiotics she prescribed no more pain and fever so sad she made me feel like i made a mistake for going and you should NOT feel like that when you feel sick but other than that all this years its being great! The front office lady Hilda is super nice and love when she greets you with a smile makes you feel comfortable going in and Melanie is awesome truly appreciate this 2 ladies work!!hope not to have anymore bad experiences with the PA!the last thing you need when you're feeling under the weather is a little sympathy not sarcasm!

This review is specifically written for Sonya, P.A. It was my second visit and I was very nervous to get a physical and a pap. Sonya made me feel comfortable. She explained every detail and was very attentive. She went above and beyond by calling me about my elevated trigylceride level. By far the best and responsible P.A. I have ever had! I would highly recommend my family and friends to Dr. Stewart's office. Thank you again.

Nice service. Staff and doctor. He gave my husband good care and best option for treatment. Not only wanting to sell or take your money for unnecessary procedures. I'm happy now we found new family doctor! Thank you! :))

Finally found a doctor that I'm comfortable with and be able to trust.  Dr John is a God-sent.  No wonder there are so many patients in the waiting room.  Highly recommended.

Ive been a patient here for more than 24 years. My daughter came at age 4 and she stayed until she was 18. And Dr Stewart is the only Dr office he knows. Been here since he was born. Have seen Drs come and go but i wouldnt change to another place. I have even referred people to come here. Thanks to everyone here at Stewart Medical.

John, James, Anita, The PAs, Dick, the white girl etc They are all so darn amazing. I love every single one of them. They treat me like family. Now,the negative reviews are about the front office staff, and they are 110% telling the truth, they can be rude, unfriendly and disrespectful. I don't like none of them, but when you get past those evil senoritas, it is heaven. I been a patient here for 3 years
