Philip T. Chan's Online Review Report Card

I absolutely love this man. I coukd honestly say that I trust this man with my life. I'm so thankful he made my pregnancy experience so wonderful. Thank you from myself and my whole family.

Dirty office. Staff is flustered and not helpful at all. Equipment is old and not taken care of. Dr. has horrible bedside manner and couldn't even wash and dry his hands properly before touching me. The doctor also drove up 40 minutes after I made my appointment, and according to the wait list, so did 8 other patients. The office staff forgot to send diagnostic codes to both the lab AND pharmacy, so that of course resulted in a nightmare. Just avoid this place, especially for OB patients. Don't start off your pregnancy with a bad experience like I did

I have been trying for over a month to get my lab results and when I called Doctor Chan's office he is either out of the office, at lunch, or with another patient. Then, I received this weekend a letter from his office stating that they have been trying to contact me about the results, but they have been unable to do so. The number included with that letter 626.284.7300 is no longer in service.

Do not come this doctor, this guy was so so terrible, something should tell patient but he didnt!!!! Alaways waiting so long , I have 3 apointment before and call they before ,was tell me the doctor not here still waiting , DO NOT COME THIS OFFICE !!!

Only been here once but the doctor seems knowledgeable and concern with my problems. The reason for 3 stars is the wait unfortunately. He seems to accept a lot of patients therefore the wait can be about 2 hours or so, even with an appointment. If there is no appointment, I don't know how long the wait would be.

Dr. Chan is a very good doctor, he's friendly and care his patients. I've seen him over 20 years. He explained clearly what to expect and what to be alerted. He answered all the questions I have. All my deliveries went well, and the sterilization surgery was perfectly done. And yes, the waiting may be long, but that worth it. I asked him why some patients took so long, he said they may be more nervous, so he spent more time to make them understand their situation to help them claim down. There're times he still in the hospital and cannot return soon, his staff will tell the waiting room patients if they want to wait or come back other time. I only worry when he will retire, it's too hard to find another one like him. He's the best.

Review for the office: the office is horrible when it comes to scheduling. Came in a week ago for a 2 pm appointment and they told me that the doctor doesn't come in until 3. Then I came in another day and the told me that they have no record of my appointment, even though I made it with the same lady the week before. Very frustrated being told that even though I made an appointment, it is first come, first serve basis!

He’s straight to the point and very professional.
