List of Shane Pak Md's Reviews
Got a referral from my family doctor to see Dr. Pak. Been calling 3 days, trying to schedule an appointment and still no answer.
Dr Pak is the best orthopedic spine surgeon there is. I went for a spinal fusion and was scared as hell. Dr Pak didn't rush me he didn't push me he just told me facts and truth. And let me decide what I needed to be done. I trust Dr Pak very much he is a great Dr and if I should need another surgery I will not go to anyone else but him for it. I recommend him to alot of peop do know and show them we're my surgery was done I recovered very quick. Thank you Dr Pak
Worse service ever, they put wrong referral information for patient and make trouble without any apologies.
Appt. scheduling is easy, Dr. Pak saw me when I was having strange pains in my neck and back area. After x-rays and a MRI, I was told I needed surgery. If I didn't have it I would be in a wheel chair soon. He explained everything to me from beginning to end, asked if I had any questions, which my daughter did have questions and he answered them all. Everything went well thru and after surgery. When I went in for my check up Dr. Pak told me I would have to have another surgery at a later date to fix 2 more discs in my back. Well the time has come and I wouldn't let anyone but Dr. Pak do this next surgery also. He doesn't sugar coat anything and tells it like it is.
Back in 2019 I had a disc herniation and I saw Dr. Shane Pak, he convinced me to do surgery, he told me the success rate would be 90%. Unfortunately, the surgery did not work, a few months after the surgery my pain became worse than before the surgery. When I went back to see him he told me either he could perform another surgery on me or he could refer me to see Pain Management. Dr. Pak had never mentioned there was Pain Management as an option that I could try before my surgery, and had I known about this alternative I could probably have avoided surgery, but too late for me. I also had a chance to speak with a patient whose spine had two herniations but he received a single non-invasive procedure ten years ago that fixed him well till this day. He had barely a scar and he was released from the clinic on the same day of his surgery. Instead I received a full blown surgery that did not work plus a big scar on my back and I was hospitalized overnight. It's been two years, my spine is pain day and night at where he performed the surgery! Everyday for me has been a struggle, it has caused so much pain and suffering for me and my family! I put my trust and well-being in the hands of Dr. Pak, instead my life has completely changed for the worse because of the surgery. Don't make the mistake I made, Dr. Pak is morally and technically not a trustworthy doctor you want to put your life in the hands with!!!
I've seen Dr. Pak a few times and while I don't eat junk food, I believe one would spend more time in a drive thru line than meeting with him. The issues I'm having are serious and life altering. I have been trying to manage the affects while going to multiple doctors to determine the root cause for almost a year. When I attempt to ask Dr. Pak questions after he's finished talking, he hands me the clipboard and tells me to give it the people at the front. It's his standard speech. He's done it every time I've seen him. He doesn't explain what may have caused my health issue, why it's causing my ailments or share any medical knowledge. It's almost as if he has a personal best record time getting patients out the door and he's always trying to break it. He told me what to do for my diagnosis (which will require a different doctor) and that if it works he'll never see me again. For my health I really hope it works, but also never want to see him again. Today's health care system provides many challenges and obstacles. Most often we don't have access to outstanding medical care. We are usually left navigating referral to referral in search answers and solutions. While I did receive some answers from a MRI Dr. Pak ordered, I don't feel I received many from him. I hope someone finds this helpful. I wish you luck and great health.

Thank dr Shane pak for doing my scoliosis surgery I feel much better no pain at all thank u doctor
Dr. Pak is not patience at all. We waited for him in the office for 15 minutes and he came in and we were done in about 2 minutes. We felt like he didn't take the time to listen to his patients, but rushes the appointment. Felt like he did not really care about their concerns.
In a hurry to do surgery Wrote a report for me that was not correct It shows he did not listen to me Alot of info incorrect!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
