Schetchy doctor practice do your research
No Follow-up from staff, impossible to reach by phone, God help you if its close to their lunch time, rude behavior. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Extremely frustrating the lack of professionalism of the staff.
Dog and Pony Show--Dr. Martinez is only in it for the money. I had a brain shunt put in because he was certain I needed it. Nope. Now I have seizures in addition to my initial problems. He is as rude as he is dishonest. As for his staff, they are nice until you catch them lying. After that, you are just a piece of meat with an invoice for them to collect on.
The care & bedside manner is missing. No one answers the phone nor calls you back. After a handful of visits & rude phone calls w/ a certain nurse I realized I don't deserve to be treated like this. I felt like if I didn't go along with whatever they made up & they did make a lot of things up that weren't true. There's a lot of miscommunication between the doctor & nurses. But at the end of the day to treat someone that sick trying to get healthcare & trying to get a diagnosis for them to treat them like they're gonna get rubbed out & w/ the fishes by the nurses. I'm not lying if I could've recorded the conversation I would blast it all over the Internet. My spouse and I were disgusted because they were always w/ me $they were they could believe what was being said & done to me. my spouse said just forget it. It's not worth it and they'll probably screw up your generic Botox treatment that won't do a damn thing to treat the other illness you have. He can write whatever he wants to in his patient summary but is full of lies. Nothing is correct & I give up. Oh, don't waste your time coming here avoid it like the plaque.
Knowledgable A knowledgeable Neurologist, but can have a cocky attitude at times.
Rarely write reviews, but Absolutely the worst neurologist I have ever seen. If there was a negative star, that’s what I would use. I struggled w migraines for over 20 years, in for a consult. Starts off telling me what he will not do for me, told me I was lying, then that he didn’t want to treat me. Tells me to speak my peace before leaving, which I did. I was stunned, having gone in there w a migraine. I was so stressed, when I left, I stopped to go get a refund and he slammed right into me, the side of my neck that triggers migraines. Then says it’s my fault for stopping abruptly, that he has witnesses, and he knew that I was one of them. Absolutely crazy. Kudos to you if you like him but I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. If I would have been a frail person he would have knocked me down. I changed my whole network because of him. Memorial Care won’t get another penny from me. I feel sorry for his family because he’s a bitter, little man that lacks empathy with a very fragile ego. This was my experience.
Used to be good..keep leaving messages, emails.....never get a call back...
Very, very well run practice with an expert and pleasant team. Dr Martinez is amazing. Very skilled and good to work with. My neurologist for many years.
I am a breast cancer survivor and received 30 rounds of radiation and 18 of chemotherapy from 2018. Then I started having severe numbness and tingling to my feet and bilateral hands, so I went and saw this MD's office. I never did seem him even after a nerve conduction test and close to 28 vials of blood over 2-months ago. I've called and called with only a voice mail recording! Jessica his PA zoomed me but I'm still wondering why I had the 28 vials drawn and can't seem to reach a single sole.
I'm 70 years old and have run the gamut after 50 years of migraines. Because of this, I have seen many different neurologists. Dr. Martinez is outstanding. His experience, knowledge, kindness and people skills are outstanding. He has given me the most help with my migraines than any other doctor I have met. I also have to mention that his staff is outstanding as well. And how many doctors have you heard of that have an acute pain clinic next door associated with their office? What a godsend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
