Laguna Treatment Hospital's Online Review Report Card

Best decision I've made, I was 12 yes soberand had a 3 month relapse, was trying to hide it from my family but it got out of control. Laguna treatment hospital was compassionate and caring, I couldn't do it by myself. The helped me get back in control of my life, I won't forget about the experience.

All the testimonials are true this is a great place to recover and learn how to live sober.  Facilities are clean, staff is professional and the counseling is great.  The food is excellent.  Only complaint is you spend a lot of time indoors and you have to find your own way to get some fresh air and sunshine.

Great treatment facility, but doctors are not available 24/7.

Truly the best set of staff you could ever come across. A lot of care and respect.

The only stars I give this facility will be for the amazing chefs+servers, nurses, doctors and case managers.Other than that, the administration has shown me that although I am a private pay patient (10K$$ for 20 days), I am seen as just a dollar sign there.One out of 20 issues I have with this facility is how I was denied access (TWICE) to necessary items that my parents want to send me: HANGERS (there were non available), RAZOR+SHAVING CREAM (having had a stroke last year and taking aspirin, the cheap razors they had available were my making my legs and armpits bleeding nonstop), and CLOTHES (I brought clothes for al types of weather, but needed thicker jackets because the rooms are FREEZING).Imagine how much trouble I had with this staff if this is one of my biggest complaints.

Laura, Jean, and Tracy were all great and super supportive and helpful through this whole process.

I am very happy with all the staff here. They really take care of you at any time of the day no matter what. They will work with you through each problem.I felt very comfortable around everyone. The activities are very good and generally I would recommend this place to anybody who has addiction.

Place is run down, pamphlet is misleading about chef designed food, I received pasta and meatballs. Why even mention the beach, as this place is located directly next to the 73 freeway, what a view, awful! It is also ONLY an 18 minute drive to the beach, which should not even be mentioned. Room had paint peeling off, no one enforced Covid restrictions, as staff let residents walk freely, coughing and with a zero mask policy (see pic). People lined up at 8 pm for medications, 20 deep and no masks, I felt like I was in a petri dish. This place is for you if you have NO other choice. Bottom line, this is just a place to hang your head with staff having zero expectations of you. If anyone has doubts, please ask the floor person in charge on level 2, they concurred with me that people who are out of their whereabouts detoxing will not adhere to rules. I find it offensive that anyone could even reply to this with a straight face, yet sleep at night knowing this is NOT a hospital, per the name says.

My stay here at Laguna has been nothing but miraculous. The transformation that I’ve seen in myself has been the most rewarding and motivational change I’ve ever seen myself. My case manager (Heidi) my therapist my doctors and all of the nursing staff (Meghan) have been so wonderful and so helpful and so influential in my recovery, I cannot thank them enough. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I’ve been to many centers.

Exceptional facility. From the welcoming lobby, and staff. Amazing nurturing climate. Clean and comfortable. Was able to set up a foundation even before the early discharge. All in all a very good place to begin a road to recovery. THANK YOU A T C
